Went in about 3 weeks ago and ordered the bacon cheese melt, which was the only item on the board that didn't claim to have onions or garlic on the sandwich (as I have an intolerance and like to avoid those foods) since every other item had that listed I assumed (my first mistake) I would be safe and if it contained a few onions I would pick them off. But I was wrong. This sandwich contained about 45% onions melting in the cheese(the menu specifically said aged chedder.. thank goodness you know the type of cheese but not the grilled onions). The young lady working in the kitchen was super nice and offered to make me a different sandwich off the menu without onions. After putting in my order she spoke to who I assume is the manager (older lady short blonde/white hair) and mentioned the item doesn't state the onions on the ingredients list but lists EVERY other item. The manager then said, "And I quote,"That's not my problem, I'm not adding that to the list. What next should I add salt and pepper too. It's her fault for not specifying she can't eat onion. " It comes off very rude and unprofessional, saying that where I could obviously hear her and made me feel bad. I understand the overwhelming poor customer service reviews. The food was okay and the drinks were good. I've been to over 100 cafes and never experienced this. I would avoid this place and give your money to a cafe that cares about its customers and actively works towards trying to be better. (I would also like to note that my americano took about 20 mins to receive after having to remind them twice that i was waiting for it... there was no one else ordering) Instead of responding, "we are sorry to hear about your bad experience, we would like to know more." Just work on your...
Read moreVentured to The Junction in St. Davids for a coffee flight experience with friends and was greeted by a cozy ambiance upon arrival. The cafe boasted a modern design with ample seating options, including comfy chairs, tables, and bar seats, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The baristas were incredibly accommodating, assisting us in selecting our flights and arranging seating for our group. The coffee flight featured four specialty flavors: Nutella Latte, Lavender Latte, Toffee Matcha, and Cinnamon Heart Latte. Each offering provided a unique and flavourful experience. The Nutella Latte impressed with its bold espresso base complemented by hints of rich Nutella chocolate. The Toffee Matcha offered an intriguing blend of coffee and matcha flavors, delivering a robust sip. For those with a sweet tooth, the Cinnamon Heart Latte provided a delightful burst of sweetness with its light texture. Meanwhile, the Lavender Latte stood out as a personal favorite, boasting a floral aroma and delicate flavour profile. Overall, The Junction offered an entertaining and enjoyable coffee adventure. I highly recommend adding it to your itinerary when exploring the...
Read moreCraving baked goods on my breaks and unfortunately this is the closest place, and because of this measly factor, it justified the numerous embarrassing trips I took to drive here. Staff is absolutely awful. No greetings. Not even a hi. Ask for one thing, get the complete opposite. May I get that warmed up? Oh, that danish you wanted? Here ya go! Ice cold just like ya asked! That’ll be $10 now shove it up your—do you get the gist here? Mind you, the need for obviously frozen and reheated baked goods from a supplier was waaaay stronger than the awareness of knowing just how bad the whole experience will be. And that alone is telling…of what a good frosted carrot cake slice would do to you on an empty stomach. I may be blindsided by hunger and tolerate the non existent hospitality but enough is enough. Going there is abuse at this point. I’ll make sure to buy a pack… and thats a 6 piece! of muffins from commissos and feel accomplished knowing that I saved myself the trip to this awful coffee shop. My local grocery store cashiers treat myself and others with amazing hospitality but this snobbish, expensive but crap establishment cant? Do better or...
