Humpty's Big Plate Diner - North Battleford — Restaurant in North Battleford

Decided to go for breakfast with my son and husband ( not a usually doing the breakfast thing). We decided on humptys. Never again. As we sat down, we got our drinks ordered and were given the opportunity to view the menu and then order. Across us was an elderly couple, I guess chatting away. And by the looks and sounds of it, they were regulars, and the people know them very well as they called them by their names. When our food order came and we started to eat, the elderly man took his bag and took out something that looked like nail clippers. As to our shock, indeed, it was, and he started clipping his nails right there and then, and it spat everywhere. The waitresses who knew them walked a few times passed while he was busy doing it and neve told him to stop or said anything. After he was done, he just swiped it with one swoop of the table , and it flying literally everywhere, and him not thinking other people around him is trying to eat. I was so disgusting that I couldn't even eat my food. Then , the waitress walked past us, seeing my husband's cup was empty, and in the walk passed, she filled it and messed all over the table with the coffee while walking away. Never even turned around to wipe it up or say sorry. On the ceiling, there were old white dirty clothes stuck in under the window blinds to stop something from leaking. It was bad, and the whole place was really not as clean as it should be. Our table was sticky too. By the time the afternoon rush came in we were forgotten about and she only came once to ask if the food was OK en never came back until she walked past to seat more people and saw we were done. Neve brought the bill for us to pay as I walked up to the register wanting to pay and leave and they were chatting away with the elderly man paying his bill. What really upset me us that the elderly man did his nails and while clipping it they saw it and just didn't say anything. I do not want someone else nail clippings on my table or near my food while I eat. And they did not even try to stop him. I guess this is the normal thing for them and maybe that's why they didn't even bother....

The manager today behaved like an absolute fool. I witnessed a customer needing to leave because his meal was very late and wanted to pay for his coffee. The manager got irritated over the complaint and asked if he ever managed a restaurant before then said "never mind you don't look like you have ever worked". (SERIOUSLY) He racially profiled the customer who needed to GO BACK TO WORK!! Absolutely disgusting that someone like him would be hired to represent Humpty's in North Battleford. I will never return. I was embarrassed for that man and the look on the other staffs' faces were pure humiliation. I don't care how he felt justified in behaving like a child. He clearly needs to be trained on how to deal with the public. Swearing and flipping out is never acceptable especially when the customer hasn't accelerated it to that level. ...

My friend was in a wheelchair and instead of asking if we were willing to wait for a table they placed us at a booth. When I said she's in a wheelchair the lady said "We have tables upstairs." The coffee had lots of grounds in it, took over an hour for our food to come, the food was just okay but my daughter's fresh veggies looked like they had been sitting in the air for days drying out. They didn't have any spoons. Waitress never came over to ask how things were or top up our coffee and we never got my daughter's drink. When I went to pay and said I never got her drink the lady silently went to the back and barely filled a to go cup and said "Here you go." We were there for 2 hours and the tables around us were dirty with plates until they needed the table, then they would clean it off. There were 6 dirty tables around us. The experience...
