Burger World — Restaurant in North Bay

Best family restaurant in Northern Ontario. You know what you're getting and you know it will be good. I love the gravies they use. And gravy is one of those items that make or break a meal. I eat there with my medical driver 9/10 times when traveling to the Bay. Their breakfasts are served all day and are excellent. If your food is not exactly what you ordered or expect, it's very likely they are super busy. Tell them and they will do their best to make it right. They are very popular because it's always busy. The staff is great and you never have to worry about an empty coffee cup. All the waitresses are a part of their busy service team and you never see anyone standing around doing nothing. The waitresses are always checking to make sure your meal is as you ordered it while the waitresses constantly make sure you get everything you ordered. One recommendation. Tip them well. They work hard and are worth the extra 10%. I rarely tip less than 25% there. ONCE in the last seven to eight years I had a problem and it took them all of ten seconds to fix the issue to MY satisfaction. Despite the day I usually have at the hospital getting tests and procedures is made up for by know I have some excellent down-home fare waiting for me when I am done. OH YES! I want to mention that their homemade soups are better than anywhere else. I wish they would make tomato-macaroni and split pea more often. I went one day for supper and ended up eating six bowls...

Burger world is a great place to have a meal that taste like home. The environment and the staff work very hard to always keep their smile on regardless of how busy it is they maintain all their steps. This place is a bilingual environment, if you’re looking for English or French service, they could provide it. Very kid friendly, I find a lot of places now days they don’t have patience or love for the children. In the industry, they are too fixated onto the students or business incorporating people, but when it comes to family well You know the owner is a family man you feel the vibe throughout his store.

Every time I go to this place, they make the food with so much pride. They do good with those portions. They actually put the ketchup and vinegar without feeling that you have to bug the waitress for two seconds but no, they’re on it.

Also the only reason why I gave it 4 stars it’s because I do find it expensive but I guess we’re going for quality. Maybe if they had fountain drinks, their meals would come with drinks,?? but everything is separate all because they have bottles. Meals do not come with beverage but their breakfast comes with coffee as far as I know, in the end after eating their your belly feels full. And your around...

Burger world used to be one of the few spots in North Bay you were always guaranteed a good meal and experience. Unfortunately, the last couple of orders have been anything but good. The quality of ingredients and attention to detail is no longer there. My order tonight will be the last, ordered a baked potato poutine with crispy fries and instead was given raw fries, raw fried onions, no sour cream thats listed in the menu desription as included, gloopy gravy and stuffed sideways into a too small delivery bag. ( This was not the fault of the delivery driver the meal was packaged and handed over to the driver with the poutine on its side in an upright bag). For a $20.99 (not including taxes and fees which was $28.09) poutine the product should have been fully cooked and packaged properly. The last few times we have sat down in the restaurant have been just as bad, the tables are always dirty, and the servers are too busy gossiping and drinking booze behind the side counter to provide service. Save your money and visit other local businesses or cook at home. Either way, you're guaranteed the food...
