Subway — Restaurant in North Cowichan

Took advantage of the BOGO deal, buy 1 footlong and get the second free. Have to order online or using their app. I found it fairly easy to use their online ordering program, got through it and the subs were ready when I arrived 10 minutes later. BOGOFL Is the code to get your free sub. Only available til March 3 though.

Just visited the Chemainus Subway again, with some reservations, but they are they only "fast food" game in town. I should mention this was right at noon, they should have been primed for the lunch rush. Last time I was in I would swear the bun was not fresh that day. Same thing today, stale bun. The rest of the sandwich was good, even the tomatoes looked reasonably fresh this time. But wrap a stale bun around it and all is lost. Such a shame, used to be able to count on this franchise.

Went into the local Subway last night around supper time. Was served by a very polite and friendly young man who made us two wonderful Italian BMT's (I'm addicted to these) on fresh Italian herb bread still warm from the oven. The service was good and the sandwiches were excellent. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was the lettuce, seems like the lettuce at most Subway Restaurants is often a little brown around the edges. But that did not stop us from enjoying our...

Worst subway in the Valley. The older female manager is the most unpleasant customer service employee I have met in years. Constantly this location is closed for half an hour or longer randomly throughout the day.

Today was the last time I will ever visit this location. I ordered a bacon and cheese panini with shredded cheese. As soon as she finished it she threw it in the toaster without asking whether i wanted sauces or vegetables. When I asked for vegetables and sauces she refused. Saying I "didnt specify before hand." When I said she had given me vegetables and sauces the last time I ordered this panini(a week earlier) she proceded to yell at me. I have also seen her raise her voice at other customers in the past.

Experiences with employees like this give Subway a bad name.

It's too bad as I really enjoy subway usually and there arent many options in Chemanious but I refuse to support a buisness that treats...

Used to order on the app when short on time and heading to Chemainus. Subs were always ready on time but made with a little less ‘enthusiasm’ than if it was made right in front of you. The last time I tried this the app froze and never completed my order, at least not the food part. Showed up and had the sub made in person instead and made sure to ask if the order went through, it hadn’t. A week later I get order confirmation and a charge on my credit card. Calling the store I was told there was nothing they can do over the phone, even with the order number, etc. so I made an inquiry through the website. A week later I get a response asking for information about the order from TJ Grewal, the owner. I promptly responded with exactly what was requested only to be ghosted. 2 more emails asking where we’re at, no response. I sure hope my $12.29 was worth it, I won’t be giving this location any...
