A&W Canada — Restaurant in North Dundas

I placed an order here and the experience was terrible. The staff did not care at all.

Originally we ordered two root beer floats with our burgers and we're handed root beer shakes and told they don't make them ( I've ordered at the embrun location)

We had to ask for the drinks too they originally forgot those too.

On top of that my fiancee ordered sweet potato fries and when we said we did not get them we were told oh we did not punch it in and told to drive around to wait while they're making them 5 min comes out and team lead says yeah I can't give you them because I'll get yelled at if I do and walked away.

We originally offered to pay the difference but then had to go in the drive through again to pay, only to then get the sweet potato fries and it had no sauce.

I went thru the drive thru & had to repeat my order 3 times. I drove to my destination, opened the bag & discovered it wasn't my order. Honestly I was wild. I was starving & now had to go all the way back to A&W to get what I had ordered. There were 2 cars ahead of me. I explained what had happened & this time it was right as I checked before I drove away. How do mistakes get made? Why is there a manager if mistakes are made. Every time I visit this location, I order a Beyond Meat burger and every time, I have to park in the front and wait to have the patty cooked. However, the staff is fairly friendly and when I have gone with my dog in the car, one employee in particular loves to give dog treats to him (which makes this the best location in his opinion). Aside from the wait for vegetarian options to be cooked, the food is usually pretty good and the rest of the order is always ready very quickly.
