I travel regularly between Napanee, ON and Ottawa, ON and one of my few indulgences is the Bailey’s Cream coffee. Needless to say I know what it normally tastes like, from just about every Tim Hortons between Napanee and Ottawa. Which is a LOT of Locations. And they all taste and smell pretty much the same. This morning I decided to bypass the 401 Eastbound location at Mallorytown ON. Big mistake. I stopped instead at the 301 Colonnade Drive location in Kemptville, ON. NEVER again. I ordered an XL Baileys Cream coffee. It didn’t look or taste like any of the other 20+ locations I’ve been to, driving back and forth. NOT even close. No smell, and very little taste. went back inside. Girl remade it. I went back outside, got in my car. Same thing. Back in I went. Was given attitude because I was back a third time. I tried to explain the issue, and that this was the only location I’ve ever stopped at with this issue. And although the young lady attempted again to correct the issue. She was clearly NOT happy with me and the situation as a whole. She blamed it on that EVERY other Tim Hortons location between Napanee and Ottawa MUST be over pumping the amount of Baileys flavouring they were putting in the coffee. So she added 5 pumps of the flavouring instead of 2 ASSUMING that would fix it. She told me to try it before I left this time. I did, slightly more flavour but still not very creamy or even smell or taste right. I gave up, and left. While in the parking lot, I thought “I have some plain coffee mate creamer in the car, lets try that” And Voila it tasted closer to correct. Way over flavoured of course now but at least I personally figured out where the problem was. Still had to throw it out but found the cause of the issue. Little advice for the young lady I dealt with. Not every customer you deal with is an A*S when they say something isn’t right about the product. You’re not perfect, and neither are the machines you push the buttons on to make the product. You’re lucky you dealt with me today, who has worked service jobs for years, and just let the attitude pass by because it wasn’t worth wasting the time or energy on your poor attitude. Perhaps don’t assume, but troubleshoot. I promise it won’t happen again because I will NEVER stop at this location again. PS: Calibrate your cream machine, or pay closer attention to the button you push. Because either the cream machine isn’t working right, OR you were pushing the button for the wrong sized cup. Read moreFlies were on the doughnuts and I pointed it out to the server and they refused to take any action to get rid of the flies or the doughnuts the flies were sitting on. I understand that flies are everywhere but there a lot of employees there. There wasn't plenty of doughnuts in the show case to begin with. The servers could have easily pulled those trays and smacked those flies. There were more employees than the flies and standing around. The servers seemed nervous and unable to take action just standing there when I pointed out the doughnuts with the flies on it. Well I'm sure that the store has cameras. The owners or franchisees need to let their employees know what the health codes are. If there's a BYLAW Officer or health inspector interested in stopping the spread of diseases. TAKE A LOOK AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. It's a very busy place and we're supposed to get a high standard for our money and THE LAST PANDEMIC NIGHTMARE BECAUSE OF LACK OF CLEANLINESS. TO all customers drive thru is where you really get the worst. The lack of CLEANLINESS and action is what disgusted me. This is the first time I have ever wrote a review about any restaurant. I live by eating at fast food restaurants because i drive across North America for a living and pleasure. I'm very sad that I had to write a bad review. DO CORRECT YOUR LACK OF CLEANLINESS AND TAKE ACTION. IT'S VERY MINIMAL TO DO AND WILL NOT BREAK YOUR BOTTOM LINE BUT DEFINITELY GET A LOT PAYING CUSTOMERS VERY SICK AND POSSIBLY RUIN THEIR LIVES. Read moreDO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS LOCATION. We arrived before breakfast was over and they had no egg, no hash browns. I placed orders for my daughter and myself, and then my mother put her order in. She ordered the grilled cheese, to which the cashier asked if she would like to "add bacon because it is really yummy". My mother declined. The girl was tapping away on the screen and offered a combo with the sandwich. The cashier gave the total and my mother had asked to confirm that the grilled cheese was on the order in the form of a combo, the cashier said yes, so she proceeded to pay. My daughter went to sit with her grandmother while I waited on the food. We got the two meal items but no grilled cheese. When I asked the gal preparing the food, she said there wasn't a grilled cheese ordered. Then another woman came over (manager?) and went to speak to the cashier, and then pulled up the transaction receipt. The manager came over and said we weren't charged for it, and clearly the cashier didn't admit her mistake. They treated it like we were trying to scam them out of a grilled cheese (and yet we ordered two other meals, with drinks, etc). The manager that reviewed the order receipt told us to pay and they would make it (which would defeat the point of the "combo" system). We just gave up and left, what a joke this location is. It's run without any standards, and it seems we aren't the only ones affected (we also noticed the swarms of flies, disgusting dining area and bathrooms). Clearly the owner doesn't care about...
