Recently, a friend and I had the pleasure of dining at Green Leaf Sushi, and it was an experience worth sharing. Opting for their Signature Aburi Platter, we embarked on a culinary journey that left us thoroughly impressed. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The sleek yet comfortable ambiance set the stage for a memorable evening. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Now, let's talk about the sushi. Each piece on the platter was a delightful fusion of flavors and textures. The expertly seared fish added a unique depth that complemented the freshness of the ingredients. It was evident that the chefs took great pride in their craft, and it showed in every bite. What truly stood out about our visit was the perfect balance of sophistication and approachability. The restaurant manages to deliver top-notch sushi without any pretense, making it an ideal spot for both casual diners and sushi enthusiasts alike. In conclusion, our experience at Green Leaf Sushi exceeded our expectations on every level. From the impeccable food to the welcoming atmosphere, it's a dining destination that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Whether you're in the mood for a casual night out or a special occasion, Green Leaf Sushi delivers an unforgettable experience.

ordered off of Uber eats and absolutely demolished that aburi platter sober šŸ’€ It came packed in this nice black box, I felt like I was opening some treasured article. Plus there was a sticky note that had all the sushi’s as reference. The care in the packaging was obvious and very sweetly done šŸ„ŗšŸ’“ As for the rolls themselves, they all tasted great. The rice was soft but one could still taste the sushi vinegar so it didn’t make it as heavy. You could tell every thing was fresh, and despite the delivery it was still good temp. My only complaint would be that they could have cut the pieces more neatly but it didn’t change the taste or experience at all. So the yukke was soft and warm, comforting with a sweetness from the onions and then there was freshness from the alfalfa. The mackerel tasted liked the grilled ones you would have when camping and it just gave me a nice warm fuzzy feeling. The scallop was a melt in the mouth, silky yet still crunchy from the fish roe. The salmon was pure creamy comfort, no shocker haha. The tobiko was crunchy and spicy, but not a burn in the mouth spicy thanks to the tuna inside. And the basil ebi was my absolute favourite. The pesto taste gave it another dimension I could only wish there was more of it. Thank you for the great food šŸ™ā¤ļø

I can’t even remember when I first started dining at green leaf sushi in point grey, so I was glad to see they opened up a location here in North Vancouver. This location however is not a full service restaurant, and they only offer aburi oshi sushi. Every ā€œrollā€ was between $13-20. We picked the Basil ebi prawn, aburi tobiko roll, yukke tuna, and spicy tuna. Out of the 4 rolls, we liked the basil ebi the most, followed by the tobiko roll, then yukke tuna and finally spicy tuna. The basil prawn had a really nice kick of basil but worked really well with the torched mayonnaise sauce. The tobiko roll was half torched so you got two different textures of tobiko. Seating inside was limited but we got our food quickly as it wasn’t very busy. The decor was very nice, with a very industrial chic look. As it’s self served, you choose the rolls you want, pay at the cashier and then your food is served to you. You also have to get your own napkins, utensils and soy sauce. All the chefs in there were quite friendly though, and they offered everyone kimchi salad at the end. I think they should put that on the menu because it was delicious. Very happy to see they expanded their operation over the bridge, would like to see more menu selection in the future though.

I love this place a lot! Literally blended into the vibe of the North Shore aesthetic as it is tucked into a very vintage little shoppe, that you can barely see in the Lower Lonsdale community. The only thing you can spot is that little sign hanging right outside the window. This is one of those places, if you know, you know it is a Green Leaf Sushi.

I was in the Lower Lonsdale area, because I work along the North Shore now, and had to come drop by for a light lunch before going back to work. I searched it up on Yelp where to eat, and this was the spot. I parked and then walked along the street, passing by this place a couple times and couldn't find it until I looked up and saw that sign. LOL. Yup, it is Green Lean Sushi alright!!

I walked into the restaurant and was greeted with a great big smile from the person at the front. The guy at the front was extremely nice and welcoming. I told him it was hard to decide because I have always love the Green Leaf Sushi in K-town Burnaby area a lot. And I told him I have always love their Mackerel Oshi and I always ordered, but I wanted something different that day. I ordered their Aburi Tobiko Roll, and my god it was delicious!!

It is different in how they made this version of the Aburi Tobiko Roll, because they have to roll it first in order to then aburi the top of the sushi. The best part was the little japeleno at the top of it to make each bite just a little bit more fruity and spicy. Amazing!! On top of that, they gave me a small side of cooked Mackerel as a side piece! When I told them how much I love mackerel!! I was so happy! It really made my visit so special for sure!! And yes, I will be back sometime in the future bringing co-workers for some sushi!!

But to be honest, the best part is just the restaurant itself. It is so beautifully aesthetic to the Vintage North Shore style it fits perfectly. I love the little lights and their decor. It wins for me in every aspect. And of course, they play KPOP on their speakers, I was dancing to Twice and eating my sushi. Perfect atmosphere for sure!! Love the place, and will be...
