PHT..."Pirates of Penzance" Sunday matinee. The best show ever! From the orchestra, players, costumes and comedic adaptation, a standing ovation well deserved 👏💫 Tickets go quickly for shows. ♿ Parking, and street parking. Bus, walk. Vancouver Seabus up Chesterfield...easy, and worth it. The view of the city going home is nice too☺️

A small and intimate theater with a free parking lot. At the entrance there was a room with tables and coloring pages for children until the show started. We were at the performance of "where the wild things are" and it was great. An interactive performance for children who really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next show to come.

Charming small theater! 🎭 We went to see "Kill the Ripper" on the same night that the rest of our family went to see Hamilton and I think we arguably got the better show. We'll definitely keep an eye out for performances whenever we're in town!

Just totally floored! by the passion !! and artistry !!! and sense of community !! and integrity !! And need to put exclamation marks! after each!! Word!! 😀 Allow me to spin ye a wee yarn... My tale begins two days ago, when my nail technician and good friend Fiona from Luxury Nails on Lonsdale handed me two FREE tickets to the opening night performance of Top Hats and Tails at The Production House Theatre, at 333 Chesterfield.

Fiona went on to tell me that the strange and smiling man who gave her these tickets insisted that, should she not be able to use them herself, she could only pass them on to another member of the local community. She told him that she knew just the right person, ME! Of course.

Well, I LEAPT for joy at the chance to see live theatre! Especially with having just had my nails done! Yay, right?! (I started phoning up my list of babysitters, and girlfriends immediately).

And being the inquisitive, slightly jaded me that I am, I was also a little intrigued as to why this jovial stranger would be handing out free opening night tickets, so willy-nilly to unsuspecting members of the lower Lonsdale community...

The more I investigated, the more local businesses I found had been given tickets...

The 7-11! Starbucks! Even a couple of local school teachers... What was going on? Had the world gone mad? Was it a secret society going for a multi level marketing plan, or worse, a timeshare sales scheme!!! I decided I owed it to my Google Review followers to find out.

The next night, the doors opened, the red carpet rolled out, and the well dressed ushers and doorsmen invited the buzzing crowd of ticket holders inside from the rain.

The many smiling faces with volunteer badges were a clear testament to the honest-to-goodness passion that ran like a warm current through the Theatre.

The sense of community and inclusion that I got from hearing Kim Selody, the Artistic Director, speak his welcome to us, as valued members of the North Vancouver Family, was as warm and tangible as the red velvet curtains hanging behind him. He explained that there was no reason for inviting us, other than to how we enjoyed his theater, perhaps tweeted about it, but mostly, that we as his community partners in business and art, enjoyed the Theatre. 🌹❤

We were all honered and humbled to enjoy the gift of a night of truly great Theatre! Top Hats and Tails with Dik and Mitzi Productions at the Presentation House Theatre was a family friendly, laugh-a-minute night out to remember! I can't wait to go again, and I highly recommend supporting this community friendly, inclusive, altruistic, honest and...

I've been meaning to go see a show at this theatre for a while now and thought their production of Dame Susan Hill/Stephen Mallart's 'The Woman in Black' would be perfect for this time of year. I can say with certainty that the Presentation House Theatre didn't disappoint.

Firstly, I want to thank the staff who work at the theatre who ensured I could see the show. I tried to book tickets online but ran into some issues on my end so went in person, but the ticket officer wasn't in; however Brad was super helpful as well as welcoming and took my name and details to pass onto the ticket office when they were in, he was so attentive and a big help! The next day Emily called me and was so helpful and polite, arranging the tickets for me and holding them when I kept running into issues with my card so I could pay in cash on the day.

Truly exceptional customer service from both Brad and Emily and I extend my thanks to themselves and everyone at the theatre.

The show itself was fantastic! It truly captured the atmosphere, creepy nature, tone and story of Hill's book and play perfectly. The actors Bernard Cuffling (Who also did a fantastic job directing too) who played Arthur Kipps/additional characters and Aidan Wright who played the Actor both played their roles perfectly and believably, their performances captured my attention throughout and they did great justice to the characters and source material!

The whole production/creative team's passion for theatre really shone through as the production values were so immersive and every part of the stage, lighting, effects and sound were used to their fullest extent, culminating in a show I won't forget and am glad I chose to attend. The volunteer staff were also so helpful and welcoming too and I'm very thankful for their efforts that night!

The whole team put on a great show and I'll be keeping my eye out for future productions. I'd definitely recommend seeing a show at the Presentation Theatre if you have the chance to and support...

It was my first time at this theatre. I came to see Electric Company's production of The Magic Hour. So while I didn't have the traditional non-Covid theatre experience, I appreciated engaging in a thought provoking piece of performance art which took into consideration all of the safety protocols around Covid. The production team did an amazing job of converting the theater into a 9 room house for the performance and made it engaging for a personal piece of theatre. The box office staff was exuberant and professional as was the usher. Overall an excellent experience. Look forward to seeing other productions here as things return...
