KFC — Restaurant in North Vancouver

This KFC is always busy. Right on lonsdale just below the highway, it sees alot of traffic with people dropping in off the highway back and forth to home, as well as locals and food delivery services always there. The locations is very small, and with COVID there is no seating anyways, but it is very cramped nonetheless. The food is all the typical KFC fare and you can order online for this location as well, but generally speaking the service is too slow for a fast food place. Every time i come here, you have to wait and excessively long time, and I'm not totally sure what is going on in the back as there is a large passthrough into the kitchen and you can see reams of chicken there, but for some reason it takes a long time to get your order organized. Regardless, the staff are friendly and the chicken is always fresh. An old staple we are sure to return to.

Update. Have been to this location multiple times now and can say consistently that it is slooooow. I count 5 workers in the store, 4 in the back and one floating cashier. They seem to take waaay too many orders to deal with and always have a back up of couriers in site and a long line of people waiting in store for food. They also seem to prioritize online orders versus walk-in orders which is frustrating and you end up waiting a ling time just for them to take your order and bene when it is ready and sitting in the pass, you have to wait while everyone runs around getting other orders assembled instead of handing out all the orders just sitting in the window. Why does a KFC run out of chicken? How can they not have chicken ready to go and you have to wait 15 min for it to cook? During dinner rush? I came in to this location expecting an average KFC experience since I haven't been to one in a while I was hopeful. However when I came to this location it was quite in fact the opposite. I ordered a bucket of chicken and asked for them to make sure it was good and hot for me since I was really hoping for that homely KFC taste. The kid at the front counter was kind and assured me he'd make sure it was to standard. The cashier went to the kitchen and asked an older lady to make it fresh. She looked annoyed and she quietly said that they couldn't. I then saw her picking and choosing through their over filled Cvap full of overcooked, age old chicken for which ones seemed to be the most viable as not cooked 4 hours ago. After sorting through what I was told was fresh chicken the lady started clapping her tongs at her coworkers and snacking on product right in front of multiple customers. Absolutely unprofessional and unsanitary, and a huge turn off to any customer who witnesses it. Truly shows the standards of this KFC location. I worked in fast food for three years and never once saw this kind of behaviour pass. I would fire this woman and retrain staff to assure integrity and quality because this is among the worst experiences I've ever had in any restaurant. same kfc with a lots of problem and always change people. those people make their own rules and refuse if they wanted. service is -0. please remember my review. this happened today for i dont know what trip she doing. she is the old lady there. so i bought the 2pc chicken combo its around 10$. i requested a 2 thigh spicy and she ring it with other plus nd negative numbers. im cool i dont complain.i thought its normal plus last time i bought 3pc all thigh spicy they added 2$ charge. dont forget the reciept cause the service she did is SUS. at home i check the reciept and saw what she did. charge me 1$ extra and charge me with a bag 25c and i break after that. ridiculously wrong. the menu dont say additional charge (its only 2 thighs) and she charge me with a small regular bag. i put all picture with comments. good luck on your chicken purchase and always check your reciepts.
