Horrible customer service from Siavash (restaurant manager). I ordered from Yaas through Uber Eats. I normally order lamb shank and joojeh with no rice, unless they have lentil with rice on their daily special. So what was delivered to me was a black stew with rice which is not very appealing to me so I contacted Uber eats and they said they’re not able to get a hold of the restaurant so I took the matter in my own hands thinking the driver probably gave us the wrong order. The restaurant manager Siavash admitted their mistake and apologized for giving the wrong order to the driver. He then said sadly we don’t have any drivers today so I said that is fine just take my name and number down and the next time I place an order I’ll get it then. He agreed and apologized for the inconvenience. I said I’m not sure when I’m going to order next and he assured me that there won’t be a time limit on the credit. This was back in March. Now tonight we decided to make use of our credit of $38. Thinking they have written down my information I mentioned my name and after 5 minutes he comes back saying I’m sorry we won’t be able to honour this credit as it was more that a month. He asked what was my order, I honestly forgot that I had ordered the 2 x lentil rice with chicken so I said what I usually ordered which was lamb shank and one skewer of chicken no rice. He then asked for the receipt so I looked for my receipt and provided everything he asked for. After about one hour he called and said you ordered lentil rice with chicken not lamb. I said yes I realized that as well when I looked at my receipt. However you would have checked the receipt and would honour the same amount on the receipt. He started talking over me and wouldn’t listen and kept talking about why I was being dishonest and that he doesn’t believe us and he will not honour the promise he made back in March because he doesn’t believe that I ever ordered anything from them. And on top of that he said I just spent 40 minutes talking to you so give us some credit for trying. I said sir, you’ve been denying the credit from the beginning of the call and kept asking for documentation and proof thinking I wouldn’t have any of that. Mr siavash, fortunately receipts are now sent to your email so I send you the receipt and the invoice. So then you call and say I’m sorry there’s no such order in our system. I was not surprised with this response since he’s been spending 45 minutes of his time on the phone trying so darn hard to deny such credit exists.

SMELLY CLOTHES AFTER DINING IN. Each time we went there, after leaving, our clothes smelled like food for 2-3 days! THE SOLUTION: Being a highly technical person, last time I was there, to help the owners, I looked at the ventilation system. They have a powerful vacuum/hood over their grill that works great; but they have No Vacuum/Hood over the large food warmer table that sends a couple of cubic meters of garlic and other strong spices -infused air each hour into the restaurant (& its steam heats the kitchen)! & to make the matters worse, there are powerful vents pushing fresh air right over the Food Warmer area and spread the food smell very powerfully into the restaurant. Who Designed This Ventilation System?!! : )
I know finding skilled people to fix the ventilation systems is hard these days. But if you tell these people to add a Powerful Vacuum/Hood over the food warmer table, and Close the fresh air vents that push fresh air into the kitchen, and instead Open them to push fresh air Into The Restaurant, they will understand & fix your system! & The restaurant will smell fresh, and the kitchen will be less hot as well. And you'll bring a lot more customers back to the restaurant. Your people are great and the food is great, & you will be much more successful by doing this smart update! All...
