BEAR Restaurant on is an absolute culinary delight that I can't recommend enough! If you haven't experienced this hidden gem yet, you're truly missing out.

The sushi was incredibly fresh and skillfully prepared, showcasing the chef's dedication to quality and flavor. Dumplings were comforting and flavorful, offering a delightful combination of textures and aromas. The Tom Yum soup had just the right amount of spice, delivering an explosion of flavors that delighted my taste buds.

And let's not forget the heavenly cheesecake. I can honestly say that it was a slice of paradise on a plate. The cheesecake was perfectly balanced, with a velvety texture that melted in my mouth. It's not an exaggeration to say that this dessert alone is worth the visit!

What truly makes BEAR stand out, apart from its exceptional cuisine, is the exceptional service. The staff is not only attentive and friendly but also passionate about ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.

In conclusion, BEAR Restaurant has earned its place as my new favorite spot on Manitoulin Island. The combination of delectable dishes, warm ambiance, and top-notch service make it an absolute must-visit. If you're a food enthusiast looking for an great experience, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at BEAR. You won't be...

Very impressed with the sushi! Delicious and well presented rolls. Great customer service. The only issue I see is the price. At $15 a roll I would expect the rolls to be much bigger. I have been to many sushi places and usually if a roll is $15 it would be a specialty roll. Also there should be some variation in the prices of the different rolls. The vegetarian option should be less money than the rolls with fish. Also it was challenging to find the location as there is not yet a sign on the door or above the door. The restaurant still has the previous locations information on the door. I’m sure this will be changed soon, but I thought I would mention this as I don’t think people will be entering unless they have heard about this restaurant through social media. I know this restaurant is still brand new but I thought I would bring up these things as I really enjoyed the sushi and am happy to have a restaurant like this on manitoulin island and I really hope it will be successful so that I can continue enjoying this place when I’m...

Everything I have tried so far has been delicious and the same high quality you would find down south. The ramen noodles were a great treat that I wasn’t even expecting when I went in!

I have had the green tiger (favourite so far), spicy crab, California salmon, and MaguraShi. All were very good and the cream cheese in some of the rolls is unexpected, but pleasant.

My only quibble would be the ‘few’ options available currently. I would say most sushi places had too many options to choose from, and Bear is a bit on the slim side. Everything is very good though!

The authentic Ukrainian cabbage rolls that are available on site are also very good and I recommend people try them! I little different than Canadian cabbage rolls, but the...

Great selection of rolls to choose from and everything on the menu is delicious. Trust me, I have tried nearly all the rolls and have tried all their soups, dumplings and a few other items (like their desserts when available). Chef Art, Ruslan and the rest of the team always greet patrons with a smile and the service is excellent. If you’re on Manitoulin Island and craving something a little different from burgers and fries or chicken fingers and fries, this is the place to visit!

Surprisingly good sushi. Ordered their signature Bear roll, a Green Dragon roll, and the Thor roll. Liked the Bear roll which is topped with torched salmon a lot in particular. It was a somewhat long wait for our food after we ordered (maybe half an hour), but that's not too much different from other sushi restaurants I've been to where they made it fresh after ordering. The decor inside made it feel more like a cafe than a restaurant. Staff was very friendly.
