A&W Canada — Restaurant in Northwest Industrial

My recent order from this store left me extremely disappointed and disheartened. Despite my clear request for vegetarian sandwiches (their new spicy Piri-piri potato buddy burger), I was served beef sandwiches instead, which not only betrayed my food preference (as i am pure vegetarian) but also deeply offended my religious beliefs. It was only after i have taken a bite and didn’t feel right about it. I then called in the restaurant to confirm the order and the supervisor lady confirmed that the staff ‘assumed’ it was a regular order for buddy burger. What was even more distressing was the staff's refusal to acknowledge their mistake. Upon calling the restaurant, instead of taking responsibility and offering a sincere apology, they attempted to deflect blame. The supervisor on duty made it sound like a ‘no big deal’ and no apology was made.It was an obvious disregard for customer trust and respect for my religious practices.

Failure to do so not only cut off customers but also reflects poorly on the restaurant's values and integrity. They must take immediate action to rectify their mistake and demonstrate genuine commitment to customer satisfaction and cultural...

So, this A&W is disgusting, I ordered food tonight that I threw out because none of the employees are wearing gloves of any kind and they're touching everything with their fingers, I watched the girl who was running the drive thru window take someone's payment the went and started making food in the kitchen without washing her hands. A health/ food inspector really needs to come and see this location. What happened to basic food handling practices? Wiping their hands on dirty rags if they get something on them, do they not understand how cross contamination works? This is not the place to eat if you have any kind of food allergy. I drove into the 24 hour drive Thu early, I could see the staff rise from their napping booth groggily. Fine, it's three am. They ask me to wait. After a few minutes I'm asked for my order, to which there was no response. Another minute goes by, I'm asked to wait again. I'm so hungry I'm willing to stay at this point. A new voice comes onto the intercom and asks me to repeat my order. I was then told to wait again. The third time I was asked for my order I said I'd just go somewhere else. She thanked me.
