I've been visiting this butcher multiple times a week for well over a year now, and it truly deserves all the praise it can get. The quality and selection of meats are exceptional – incomparable to anywhere else. Not only has it expanded what we've been cooking, but it’s made every meal genuinely enjoyable. The prices are also fantastic, especially given the quality, making it an unbeatable choice.

What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Every visit feels like seeing close friends or family – they go above and beyond with kindness and care. They are always offering a warm and kind welcome, especially to my daughter, making each visit special. Their thoughtfulness is unmatched; they consistently accommodate any request, even going to the back to marinate specific cuts for us if needed.

It’s rare to find a place where top-tier products are met with equally outstanding customer service. Every time they exceed expectations, regardless of how busy it gets. Somehow, they make each customer feel like they’re the only one there. In all this time, we’ve never had a bad experience or a meal that wasn’t exceptional. If you’re looking for high-quality meat with a personal touch, this is the place to go. We will not buy meat from anyone else. Highly recommend!

Best butcher shop I've been to. Great family run enterprise that cares about its customers and serves top quality products.My wife stops in and buys our meats from them all the time. We've tried their tenderloin steak (they even bacon wrapped them for us and man was even the bacon AMAZING. best smoked bacon I ever had hands down ! ) , ,Boerwors sausage and butcher shop made burger patties. All were amazing meat products ! Burgers are to die for , especially if you know how to barbecue them ! Didn't know about Boerwors until I discovered them. Everything is amazing! The biltong, die boerewors, the pies (converted some people to loving pies South African style), die Melktert, I love getting these and sharing as gifts and everyone has loved it! The fudge is delicious and the range of South African products is diverse with some of my favourite spices form back home! The staff is friendly and I absolutely love this shop. We don’t go to Oakville often but when we do, we always stop in here!

The only complaint I would have is as that the one butcher didn’t know how to cut the biltong so it’s very thin shavings, I didn’t make a fuss of it since this isn’t how it’s regularly served but I prefer it that way and all other butchers always cut it perfectly when I ask!
