I am a regular visitor at this Tim Hortons but always ordered inside. Today I went to the drive through and ordered my coffee and food. The lady from the other side was shouting at top of her voice. I thought she might be having a busy day. I asked for my coffee and two twists and a hash brown. I believe there was some mistake at her end while taking the order, so I asked her that there are two twists and a hash brown. She said , “I SAID OK” at the top of her voice. I ignored this thinking that maybe she is busy. But my seven year old sitting at my back asked me that why was she yelling. I felt bad and this is not normal what happened. So i went to the window and asked to talk to the manager. Unfortunately, she was the one who was the manager. I just wanted to inform her that this is not the customer service which we seek and what my child felt. But, again she started shouting at top of her voice again. She said I was yelling at her at the window. My kid at the back said this is truth month and why are you lying. I asked her if my order was recorded anywhere. She said no. I wanted to tell her that her accent and voice was too bad to be understood but i thought that will be too rude to her. She was pushing the food to be taken away and told me that no body should tell her about the customer service. She has been here from last 6 years. I told her my boy heard you. She said she has a family too. I wonder what kind of family she is raising.
Anyways, Tim Hortons are famous for this type of customer service. Thats why I prefer other small coffee shops. They have better customer experience any day. I wont be going there anymore. Though it wont make any difference to them, but slowly they will lose other customers too.
Not a good place to go with your family unless you want your kids to see what culture they carry. They have nothing as such for Canadian Values and treat you according to...
Read moreNormally I wouldn’t write a review for any fast food restaurant, as I understand the business (being someone who worked in the fast food industry myself) but my husband and I came to the drive thru to place an order. The individual taking our order, named Neil (we got his name from the manager), was very rude to us. We looked at the menu on the Tim Hortons app, and asked for that item. He said “that’s only in December time.” Which is okay, since I understand items are seasonal but the way he said it to me was so rude. Like I’m an idiot. So I was sitting in the passenger seat, and asked for a few minutes to look at the menu. He was able to hear me. When I decided on a medium French vanilla, my husband asked for it. He started to be rude to my husband & said he couldn’t hear him. How was he able to hear me, in the passenger seat, but not my husband, who was in the drivers seat - speaking loud and clear? My husband is the calm one between us, so for him to be upset with the way this worker was speaking to him, is a big deal. He said he didn’t appreciate the way the worker was speaking to him and Neil proceeded to blame US for his lack of customer service. My husband used to work at Tim Hortons too, so I’m sure the others on the headset will say that we were the issue but thankfully we have our dash cam on, which recorded the conversation.

Read moreA Drive-thru is supposed to be quick; for customers who want to get their items as efficiently as possible. Order your food first so they can punch it in as it takes longer to make and when you order your beverage, list the size, type and then any modifications. When you get up to the window, have your cash or card ready for payment. Those with sizable orders should park and go inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, this location’s drive-thru is incredibly slow and once you enter the drive-thru line up, there is no backing out, due to the design of its curbs and landscaping. On today’s visit, after being stuck in line for 25 minutes we finally reached the window and discovered they had our order incorrect. When we expressed our disappointment with the service, there was no apology from the staff front line staff member. Six days later, we gave them a second chance , thinking they just had a bad day. Sadly, the wait time was 16 minutes and they just can not manage to get a simple order of one steeped tea and two bran muffins right. This may be Tim Horton’s Head Office location, but in no way is it one of their shining stars. If you value your time and hope for quick and efficient service at a drive-thru, choose...
