Subway — Restaurant in Oliver

I am super upset with their service. I specifically asked for a veggie patty Sub and when I got home there was no patty in my sub. The lady who made my order, her name was Jovalyn. After I noticed the no patty in my sub, I called to talk to her. She told me she would make me another sub with the veggie patty as we had already taken the bite from the previous one which is why we couldn’t take it back to just let her put the patty in the first one. She told me she would make another foot long but only charge me for the patty and I agreed. When I arrived to pick my subway up, she had already left work leaving my subway ready for payment. I had to pay for one full footling again because my family wanted the veggie patty. I had to make two trips and pay extra for no reason. This is super frustrating. It has happened multiple times. Food is always good. I've noticed the veggies have been a lot more fresh these past few visits. I don't know if it's a change in management or something but it has gotten a lot better. One thing I did notice on this visit is (and I hope they take this as a learning post) was cross contamination. I don't have any problems with my diet but for someone who is vegetarian or vegan or allergic to a certain vegetable or cheese or meat than I think the staff need a ln update course on how to prevent cross contamination. My server did all my meats with the same gloves, which is fine, but after handling the meat with the gloves, he reached into the veggies with the same gloves. Maybe need small tongs or a small serving spoon for these...

I am a big fan of subway, however... The staff here is very slow yet impatient and does not listen to you at all. They often stop making the sandwiches halfway through and start doing other things that they could do when they don't have customers waiting on them. And if they're not distracted by other random tasks then they're just chatting to the other people that work there about nonrelated things. Honestly they're not professional and the sandwiches at this subway cost more because they don't price their stuff correctly. Not to mention the quality of their stuff is always lacking in taste and missing half the amount it should normally have.
