my boyfriend myself and 2 friends went into the restaurant for dinner tonight the restaurant was completely empty so we thought it was be good service and fresh food. WRONG. i myself ordered these deep fried cheese balls that were cold and the cheese inside tasted like the singles one would typically use for a grilled cheese rolled into a ball and thrown in the fryer i then ordered the chicken pot pie as i didn’t like the nasty cheese balls and when it came out it was the filling in the bowl with a puff pastry on top…i myself thought that a pot PIE would come out you know like a pie you’d get anywhere else with the filling in the pie crust lol anyways the bowl was piping hot and the food was stone cold you know what that means they relied on a microwave to do the cooking for them when i told our waitress she was nice about it and offered a new one i declined as i knew it would be thrown back into the microwave and given back to me which i didn’t want did i mention we were the only people in the place so when they started talking bad about me in the kitchen complaining i could hear everything clear as day very unprofessional and made me super uncomfortable! as a paying customer i would expect to be treated a little better:/ the cherry on top was the attitude we received after complaining to our waitress about the food we also sat at our table for probably 10-15 minutes without being given cutlery or drinks when we were offered refills it took another 10 minutes to receive them again did i mention we were the only people there! overall i wouldn’t bother wasting hard earned money on a place that claims to be fresh never frozen and super good when the service and food were both absolute trash i think you will find better service and quality at mcdonald’s…very sad and unfortunate as all i’ve ever heard was good reviews maybe it just happened to be a bad night for every single employee in the place but not a good enough excuse for the poor food and snotty waitress! i also forgot to mention that the prices are outrageous for what you get my partner got a poutine and paid $6 for crispy chicken on top and probably got 5 smaller then bite size...

7 adults and 4 children came here after a day at Picton Beach. It was around 730 pm and the initial greeting was one of inconvenience and weren't sure they were going to accommodate the group. The younger brunette waitress was very sweet and started seating everyone There was a blonde haired older waitress who should just quit her job as her demeanor was clearly not a fan of a large group nearing the end of her night. The chicken is overpriced for the serving size ....not worth it. I mean 20 plus dollars for the smallest chicken thigh I have ever seen. Any parent will know sometimes kids can be kids and our 2 yr old of the group (although being watched by the full group) managed to dart back in the empty restaurant. The older blonde haired lady comes put and with disgust says you shouldn't have your child running around the restaurant is full of Glass? It could have been worded entirely different (the group was not rowdy and a child can be a child sometimez) but her miserable demeanor continued to shine through I don't see how having unsafe conditions of "glass everywhere she claimed was on the floors of the restaurant should make its patrons have to be more careful due to an unsafe atmosphere. Food overpriced only one staff member was OK The older miserable blonde waitress should...

Picked this place to eat on the week end, they were quite busy though.Seems like they were under staffed butbthry took my order and my food was out in pretty good time.Food was very good and staff was friendly. The only part I did NOT like was the 5 or 6 adults there were just letting their kids run around the restaurant freely! I mean kids were running by my table on a constant basis, yelling and one kid kept falling and there were no parents there to pick him up.There were st least 6 to 7 kids running around disturbing other customers and the kicker was that these parents did not seem to care that these kids were running around the restaurant and the parking lot as well. I saw a couple of cars having to wait for these young kids(ages 3-7) to run by so they could park. Besides the lack of parental supervision the restaurant itself was fine, food was good.Maybe next time staff should say something to parents about their children and their behaviour in a restaurant!! Maybe the restaurant should hire some more staff as well and maybe this would NOT...

An unexpectedly delicious surprise! I'm guessing it's not a super common tourist trap, because it's a bit off the beaten path (not in the downtown core), and it appeared as if most who were there when I checked it out, were locals... But let me tell u, that place was humming! In a matter of 5mins after arrival, there must have been 10 more cars show up! So perhaps pre-ordering online is a good idea. Onto the food.. Interesting combinations added uniquely delicious sensations to my taste buds..yes, they had the typical chicken fare, but it all appeared to be cooked to perfection, and they added some nice options, to make the taste uniquely delicious! I would encourage anyone in the area to definitely check this place out!

Today was Visit was Sandbanks and Picton. This was a simple lunch for me. Scrumptious caesar salad and delicious onion rings. Both were tasty sitting on the patio with a pint of Coors light. Service was pleasant, with a smile and a great and patio experience. The chicken smelt so great, wish I had room for it, however will remember this place for possibly a next visit in August 2019 Was about to leave when I was introduced to desert, my favorite course in any meal. Was recommended to tey the lemon lavender cheesecake. I had that with a refreshing glass of cold water. Just the right portion to top off lunch or dinner. Really enjoyed my visit and lunch.

Will not be returning Food was ok, tasty but nothing outstanding The restaurant is bright, has a lovely large outside patio The service was awful, yes it was busy, something I feel happens regularly in PEC in the summer months Our server was curt, unattentive, mumbling on about the other patrons 😬 As I continue to realize, there are many great restaurants to choose from to have to have a leisurely meal spoiled by someone else's bad day/attitude! Spending $24.86 (pulled bbq birdwich) for an ok lunch verifys that!!
