Ordered thru mobile app and never received my food! Called the restaurant back and they said I can get it re delivered or a refund. I asked for re delivery, they asked me to wait a minute to see if they have another DoorDash driver but they weren’t able to get another driver (mind you I ordered thru Burger King mobile app not DoorDash) they told me to call DoorDash to get a refund so I did. DoorDash proceeds to tell me to call Burger King Customer Support for a refund so I tried that. Burger King Suport number (Canada) goes straight to voicemail. I then call back the restaurant to explain in hopes they can just re deliver my food, the worker said they cannot redeliver due to no driver but if I come into the restaurant I can receive my food, the employee suggested to call back in the morning to resolve issue. I call back this morning to inform the current employee of the situation but they’re denying I ever placed an order and suggested to call their customer support for a refund. The customer support number still goes straight to voicemail and I cannot submit a complaint on the mobile app (shows an error msg every time I press submit) (app is updated and working fine besides for that) looks like I’m down $22 and still hungry. Read moreWent to this location with the boyfriend on May 14th approximately around 10:15PM as a late night supper. We went through drive through as it was open 24/7 but the lobby was not. There was two cars in front of us with took no time ordering and leaving. As we were sitting next in line waiting we noticed what looked like an employee (maybe not) standing out back in the drive through. As the car infront of us left we went to pull up and the guy standing by the drive threw, cuts in front of us ON FOOT! And orders food, pays, waits and then leaves. Not to mention they messed up our order when we were super clear when speaking and she put it in the computer (we can see as well). We ended up having to go back through to get it replaced after waiting for this “customer on foot” and our fries were cold. We also asked if we could walk up to the window on foot now and order due to the lobby being closed and the young girl on the window told us no. Meanwhile we just watched her do it…. We go to this location often and this was the worst service...
Read moreWas excited to hear that BK was opening a store in Kingston's west end. Been a long time since I've had BK. Visited the Midland location last evening for the first time via the drive thru. Brought my discount coupon. A bit of a line up and slower moving, but it's a new store, probably with newer staff, so no problem. Placed my order, Whopper meal, and mentioned I had a coupon. Was asked for the coupon code. Told the employee I can't read the (very tiny) code without my reading glasses. Was told I couldn't use the coupon without providing the code. Really? Really?? Never, ever have I been asked to read anything off a coupon in order to use it at any fast food restaurant I have been to, including all of BK's competitors. I have no issue with being asked for the code, but there needs to be a back-up plan if there's a problem (maybe posting a list of codes or the page of coupons at cash?).
