I was there on March 15/ 2023 at 9.25am with 9 other people. We were all seniors out for a get together for breakfast. We had a couple of people that had hip replacement and a couple with knee replacement and one with a cane . The last time I was there my meal was cold when I got it but we decided to give it another try. We were told when we went in that we would have to wait till they could put some tables together for us. After being in there about 20 or 30 minutes the big round table at the back was empty and we figured great they would take us to it as it would hold us all. We were waiting about 40 minutes standing against the wall trying to stand out of the way as much as possible, when a group of 7 came in and as soon as they came in the girl came and took them straight to the big round table where we thought that we would be going. Not sure why it was almost like they were holding it for them. We waited another 10 or 15 minutes then they came and got us and took us back near the big round table and sat us at some tables that they had pulled together. I was told that they do not take reservation so I don’t know why they took that group of 7 and sat them right down with us still standing there . We asked that our meals be brought to us as soon as they were made and not to wait till they were all ready. But they brought them all together again. When we were chatting after we were outside I found out that a couple people on the end of the table their meals were cold . So I don’t think we will be going back there any time soon as that was very bad customer service very disappointed it this place and the service . Sto everyone out there if you are going out in a group, this is not the place to go find a...
Read moreI honestly just had the worst experience here with my waitress Natasha W. My husband and I are on a weekend trip from the states and Eqqsquis was recommended by our hotel. We were able to be seated immediately but the first problem came when we didn’t get serviced for 15 minutes. Mind you, we had looked through the whole menu but I wasn’t decided yet, but to have waited 15 minutes just to put in a drink order is terrible. We got our drinks about 10 minutes after the fact, then ordered our food. Our waitress was yelling at us, almost as if we were hard of hearing, and that put a bad taste in my mouth. Once we get our food and finish, we were waiting for roughly 30 minutes. At least three tables had come and gone and we were still sitting at our table waiting for our check. I began to get frustrated after being passed up multiple times to the point we had to flag down someone else to explain the situation, where she responded “I’ll go get her.” Our waitress didn’t come to our table, but the other one we were able to flag down at least cleared our table. Finally, I decided to get up and go to the front where our waitress, Natasha, was to request our check. It took her five minutes before she came to our table and she asked how everything was. Mind you, we were only checked on twice at our table and it wasn’t even busy in the restaurant. We spent over $50 for two drinks and two entrees but if I ever visit Kingston again, I won’t be back to this establishment. Our experience was an hour and a half long! Overall the food was great, but service was...
Read moreWe walked in with smiles on our faces, excited to eat a hearty breakfast.
About 6-7 employees were standing around the front desk. Several of them looked up at us and ignored us. The restaurant was nearly empty, with several open and cleaned tables. We stood there dumbfounded for 5-10 minutes, while being ignored, and openly discussed leaving to find somewhere else to eat. Eventually we were seated, but not greeted. We did not learn our waitress's name. She mixed up our orders and never stopped by to ask us how our meal was. Other waitresses were walking around, some openly eating food and others discussing inappropriate (and frankly very private) matters.
After our meal we sat there talking until we couldn't wait any longer and decided to pay up at the front. We learned our waitress had already 'cashed us out'. We stood there, again, waiting for them to fix the issue so we could pay with credit. Our waitress told us it would come to $29. After standing for WAY too long, we decided to pay with the only cash we had ($30) and were stopped as we tried to leave, being accused of not leaving enough. Our waitress had already confused our bill with someone else's (when we first went to pay) and did it again as we were trying to leave. Once she figured it out she declared, "It's fine. You can leave," without looking up and dismissing us completely with a wave.
Needless to say, we were utterly disappointed with our visit, especially after travelling across town to eat. One of the worst restaurant experiences we...
