From the moment I stepped into Burger Revolution, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere carries an unmistakable energy—warm, inviting, yet buzzing with the passion of people who truly care about their craft. But nothing could have prepared me for the absolute masterpiece of a cheeseburger that landed on my plate.
The first thing that caught my eye was the impeccable presentation—a beautifully toasted bun with a slight sheen, embracing a thick, juicy patty that looked like it had been crafted with precision. As I took my first bite, I was met with an explosion of flavors—the beef was perfectly seasoned, its juices cascading through each layer, mingling with the molten cheese that stretched with every pull. The cheese itself was exceptional—rich, velvety, and infused with just the right level of tang to complement the umami-packed beef.
But what truly elevated this burger was the attention to detail. The toppings were carefully chosen to balance the richness—a crisp, fresh slice of lettuce, a perfectly ripe tomato, and house-made pickles that delivered a bright, tangy contrast. The bun? Absolute perfection. Light yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without overwhelming the flavors.
And let’s talk about the service—because the experience wouldn’t have been the same without the incredible Nigel and Jessi. These two are the heart and soul of Burger Revolution, delivering not just food but an experience. Their passion, knowledge, and genuine hospitality turned what could have been a simple meal into a memorable event. Their recommendations were spot on, and they made me feel like more than just a customer—they made me feel like part of the revolution.
If you find yourself anywhere near Belleville, ON, skipping Burger Revolution would be a culinary crime. This isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a testament to what a truly great burger should be. A standing ovation to Nigel, Jessi, and the entire team for redefining excellence—I’ll...

Downgraded from 5 stars to 3 stars (and, I'm being generous). There must have been a change in management. Our food tasted reheated, if you will (lack of soul). My plantain bun was a real dissapointment - hard and chewy (not at all yummy / delicious as in previous seasons). We won't go back. Oh, and that delish homemade catchup they used to make was nowhere to be found. I asked for it, and I got Heinz instead.
Previous review below. Hands down - the absolute best burger place on the planet! We have literally driven all of the way from Ottawa to this place to get our burger fixes.
(Make sure to acquire one of their loyalty cards.)
Small place ... doesn't look too magnificent or fancy from the outside. But whoa! Wait until you look at their burger menu and try some of them. Holy smokes! Now, they know how to do burgers right. Amazing vegetarian options are available too.
They source (and identify) everything locally.
My accomplice salivates over the meat menu (loves whatever he decides on ... don't know that any particular burger is his favourite).
I love the veggie burger in a plantain bun. Yep - that's right ... a plantain bun. Delightfully unusual and Sooooooooo good!
But it doesn't stop there. They make their own absolutely delicious ketchup and other sauces that you can also purchase in take-home containers.
Summary: Every burger-lover must do themselves a selfish solid and stop here at least once in their lifetime!
(Not far from the 401. Don't fret for the apparent lack of parking - as there is plenty of parking...
Read moreZero parking. Ridiculous wait times. All for a mediocre burger. The burgers are sloppy in my opinion. I have tried it twice now. First time it was eat in. It was ok. Second time I did takeout and it was terrible. They told me 25 minutes to pick up. I showed up at around 15 minutes later and there was zero parking. Had to park in another lot and walk. Then I had to wait in a line to the door just to get a takeout order I placed earlier. Overall it took an hour to get my burger home....... at which point is was soggy and sloppy. They don’t staff properly for busy evenings. They need an express line for takeout orders. They need a lot of things. I got the feature burger which was $14.99!!!!! And it was just sloppy and gross once I got it home. For such a small restaurant with limited parking and seating you need to prepare for takeout orders which they do not do well.
Update: February 2021.
After saying I wouldn’t return..... I returned. Raised from 1 star to 3 stars. I went in and tried their bare bones revolution burger with fries. I ate in once the stay at home order was lifted. The burger was fine, but honestly no better than a burger I could make at home. Fries were good. Service was good and the guy was friendly. My bun was a bit too toasted in my opinion to the point it cuts your mouth. Overall, experience was fine. My previous points stand. I don’t think this restaurant handles busy times well balancing eat in vs takeout. I think their basic burger is fine but it isn’t amazing. Tasted like a burger I’d...
