Chatham Burgers — Restaurant in Ontario

Staff are very friendly and polite. If you like the old style dinner place with booths and benches then you will enjoy this restaurant. Everything was clean and tidy, it's not a very big place but it's organized well. We were the only eat in table at the time but, many orders were being picked up for delivery, so obviously the place is popular. They have something on the menu for everyone! And prices are reasonable, a family of 3 was just over $50 not including tip. And the food was delicious. Only thing that bothered me was the hours. They close at 7pm. We usually like to eat dinner later maybe around 630 ish, as I'm sure alot of people do, and we will not go into a restaurant to order if they are closing within an hour of when we sit down. Idk maybe it's just me but it seems rude to walk into a place an hour before closing and expect to have good service and food as the staff are trying to do their close and clean up to go home. We wanted to try the place so we had an earlier dinner, and liked it. Only reason for the 4 star...

I absolutely love this place I'm so addicted I get a Greek salad with extra feta And they cook it to perfection I get one like every day honestly I can't understand a single negative review on here because the owners work so hard and always have top quality food is always the best of the best there's no better in the city in my opinion when it comes to Greek salad it's such a bonus that they are so smiling and friendly and if that's overfreshing because you don't always get that in customer service these days is such a hidden gem I actually used to come with the previous owners and it tastes so good just like the old owners I thought it was still the old owner's But these new ones are so amazing and I just adore them and their food is so good guys please try the mode and let's support it small Local business we don't need to support these big franchises anymore it's small local businesses where we should be putting our money please support these guys...

While the staff at this restaurant were friendly and smiling, the overall experience was not up to par. The restaurant appears to be quite old and may hold sentimental value for some members of the community. However, the food quality was not good. The fries were soggy and had a cheap oil smell, and the burger patty smelled good but did not have much flavor. Additionally, the napkins, forks, and sauces were not sufficient and the restaurant only provided one tray per table without plates. As a self-service establishment, the minimum tip set by the credit card machine was also quite high at 15%. While we wanted to support a local business, this restaurant unfortunately cannot compete with larger chains...
