Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Ontario

My wife and I ate here on Dec 3, 2022 @ around 11-11:45 am. We were seated quickly, had our drinks immediately and we were served our food very quickly.

My wife and I both ordered "The big chuck" burger and fries.

At the start my burger was great about half way through i noticed what I thought to be pink meat. I figured it was the lighting as the lights are very dim. I continued to eat my burger about 2-3 bites left I looked down to see the raw burger not pink but raw. I stopped eating and told my wife, My wife had half her burger left at this point and she stopped eating after seeing how raw the inside of my burger was at this point.

A man who I believe is the "manager" or "owner" came around and asked how things were, I said honestly ? and I showed him the remaining part of my burger which was raw and very under cooked. He told me that he would let his staff know. He took it to the cook, I heard the cook spout out about it and the man then returned and said at least it was "prime rib burger" and then turned to my wife and said you still plucking away and she said no not after seeing his burger. When you order a burger at any establishment you expect it to be cooked properly. Unless stated otherwise in the menu as I have seen at other burger restaurants. Regardless if this is a real "Prime rib burger" or not every burger should be cooked the exact same to the exact same internal temperature. My wife's burger was properly cooked and had no pink at all let alone raw burger meat.

For a manager to come pat me on the back and say at least it was prime rib so you wont get sick and not take my concern seriously is disgraceful for any establishment, We were not offered a discount, free meal or even a sincere apology.

Questions to "Chucks Roadhouse" Was this burger or any other burgers in your restaurant internal temps checked before serving ? The min internal temp should be 140 for a medium burger let alone a normal typical burger should have an internal temp of at least 160-165.

What kind of remedies are going to be put in place so this doesn't happen to...

Was coming here for a date night with my boyfriend I wanted to go out to a nice dinner didn’t expect it to be $90 total. Portions are so small.monza sticks 10$ for 6 small ones. Our Buffalo quesadilla had a few small pieces in it what a rip off and for 15$?? Thought there would be more meat. I’m paying 15$ for a 2$ piece of tortilla with a little bit of cheese(barely) and dinky small pieces of tomatoes??? Waitress kept bugging us I told her we’re not done our food and she tried to take it away I said no we’re not done she gave it back and walked away. Went outside to smoke like everyone else does and the girl who looks 16 asked did you pay yet and tried to stop me. Hunny I don’t leave some place without paying and the fact my boyfriend is still sitting at the booth where you seated us is outrageous. I don’t like to be stopped like that. Very embarrassing for you. The manager who I complained to about the quesadilla was very very rude to me. I asked to take it off and he wanted to make another one yeah do I can get the same rip off? Outrageous. Spider webs all over on sealing cause I want dust and spider webs falling in my food call a clean team or clean ur restaurant!!! The windows are filthy. Not going back ever again. We went in for dinner on Saturday May 19th around 6pm. We were greeted and told they would have to clean a table to be seated. There was many clean tables and a couple of dirty tables so it was a bit confusing they would have to clean a table for us. They promptly "cleaned" a table for us. Their cleaning was a quick wipe and that was all. The bench was still full of grease smears and food even after them cleaning. The benches that they sat us at were ripped and one bench had a rip almost the entire length of it. Cleaning and some repairs are definitely needed at this location. We were hoping the food would at least stand out but it was mediocre at best. Not bad food just nothing to make going back worth while considering the condition of the dining area. Also the bathrooms had a broken toilet and a sink. If they aren't doing repairs and cleaning in areas the customers see what is going on in the kitchen? Also our waiter spent more time on his phone than actually serving. After bringing us out our food he never came back to check on us until most of our party was almost done eating. We were not offered refills of our drinks until he came and cleared the table as we finished eating. Also it wasn't busy clearly since our server was on their phone almost the whole time.
