First time coming to Coras today and it definitely isn't going to be the last. First impression as I went in was "amazing" very lit up with lights and very busy. Which means it's a good place to eat, and I heard a lot of great things about their food and I was excited to try it out.
I took a coffee with a western omelette with potatoes and a side of fruit. The coffee was awesome, nice light tasting and wasn't strong. the fruit was fresh tasting and definitely could tell they had just cut it up just as my order was made.
The omelette was outstanding and the flavour of the peppers and onions and ham & even tomatoes were all great, very flavourful. I wouldn't ever thought of adding tomatoes to my eggs but it surely adds something to the eggs.
The potatoes tasted amazing a light crisp with a nice fluffy potatoes centre, they ask if I wanted some mushrooms and onion and cheese on my potatoes and of course I had to say ya. And I am glad I did the mushroom and the onions added some extra flavour to the potatoes and the cheese just brought everything together. I opted to get the rye bread which was real nicely toasted with the right amount of butter.
Overall my breakfast experience at Coras was amazing and I will for sure be back.
it is on the pricey side my breakfast was $16.25 but another $5,25 for the mushroom and onions and cheese on my potatoes, but well worth every penny especially the amount of food you get.
You definitely get your moneys worth and everything taste so fresh
I want to give a huge thanks to my server charity and all of the amazing staff at Coras for welcoming us and greet us with a smile and serving us an amazing breakfast.
I would recommend anyone if you haven't been to Coras check them out, for some great...
Read moreFor a Friday morning with at least half the tables unoccupied it took forever for the food to arrive. But this is not my issue and the reason for this review. It is the behavior toward an elderly couple that got me upset and compelled to leave a review. This elderly couple sat one table over from ours and asked to speak to the manager. Both were clearly in their 80s and probably do not go out for breakfast often. It probably was a special occasion. They had a problem with the toast and fruit as far as we understood. Regardless. An elderly couple deserves to be treated with respect! Instead the manager had nothing better to do than to treat them like children who don't know what they are talking about and discussed the issue with them at length. The couple felt so humiliated and belittled that they got up and left in silence. That was not even the worst part - the worst part was that the couple had not even left the restaurant when the manager started to discuss them and their complaint with other customers!! We were absolutely shocked by this incident. A good and compassionate manager would have offered free coffee or maybe a voucher of 10% off their next visit to show their appreciation towards the couple as their customers. A good and compassionate manager would disagree in silence and still offer some form of compensation to show respect for the elderly. A good and compassionate manager would not have turned around and talk about customers Y with customers X! That is simply unprofessional! This gentleman should be...
Read moreI recently visited Cora Breakfast and Lunch in Chatham, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and warm hospitality. The restaurant has a bright and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed morning meal.
The menu offers a wide variety of breakfast and brunch options, and everything looked delicious. I opted for their famous fruit-filled crepes, and they did not disappoint! The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident, and the portion sizes were generous. My partner had the Eggs Benedict, and it was cooked to perfection – the hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, just as it should be.
One of the standout features of Cora is their commitment to fresh fruits. Every dish is beautifully presented with vibrant, fresh fruits, which not only adds a healthy touch but also makes the meal feel even more indulgent. The coffee was excellent too – fresh, hot, and just the right strength to accompany our meal.
The staff were attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. The service was quick, but not rushed, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace.
Overall, Cora Breakfast and Lunch in Chatham is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy a hearty, delicious, and fresh breakfast or lunch. The combination of excellent food, great service, and a cheerful ambiance makes it a must-visit. I’ll definitely...
