Very, very rude service. I went through the driveway to place my order, the person, doesn't let me finish my sentence and kept cutting me off saying, "Anything else". Last thing I ordered was a bagel and wanted to request change of gloves and leave the bagel uncut. Instead he rushed it again saying my total and telling me to drive through..all of this took 1 min maybe. I told him to listen to me and not cut me off. Because he rushed me into saying NO for the question "ANYTHING ELSE" WHICH HE KEPT asking.
When I get to the window he was rude, I kept my calm and asked him if he is recording himself he said yes and that there are ppl here. I told him to ask his manager or others who are listening to us how he is speaking and what his attitude is like right now.
He says," what are you gonna do about. I will do it everytime you come" I speaking to this person for the first time and is he being so rude. If the are recording the recording will be between 10:30 to 11:15 sat nov25. Others members apologized. I didnt buy my food instead i told them to feed it to him so he can relax. This young man was an international student.
Last thing, I came as international student too, worked in fast food chains. I worked as a Trainer, and Supervisor for Wendy's and Tim Hortons ... this is extremely unacceptable behavior.
I'm a grown man in late 30s hez in early 20s and for no reason hez trying to pick a fight
When a customer comes you greet them, your tone should be polite and not rushed or rude, you don't say " ANYTHING ELSE " repeatedly even before they finish or ask "that's it". you don't push your chest out and raise your nose telling them, I WILL DO IT EVERTIME YOU COME IN" making it personal do you think this is proper customer service? Are you hooligan?
You ask , "Would you like (to order) anything else". How you deal with ppl effects the business and shows your character.
We would give a free meal if a customer frowned upon having a slightest mistake.
Over here when I was leaving, unhappy, saying thank you for the service the other person hands me the ATM with total. I said give him the meal he needs to relax...she says I apologize for him and not leave...at least we made ur sandwich right...
She tried, she has good moral... (thank you to her)
but this not proper customer service standards...hire proper staff, train them...

I recently visited Tim Hortons at 764 St Clair St, Chatham-Kent, with hopes of enjoying their offerings, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The service provided by the two employees at the window left much to be desired.
As someone who works with the public myself, I understand the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service regardless of the circumstances. However, the demeanor of the employees at this Tim Hortons was disappointing. Their expressions and attitude conveyed a sense of unhappiness, which greatly impacted the overall atmosphere of the establishment.
In comparison to other coffee shops like Starbucks, where I have received consistently friendly and welcoming service, this particular visit to Tim Hortons left me feeling unsatisfied. It is evident that there is a need for improvement in employee training and management at this location.
While I appreciate the convenience and quality of Tim Hortons' products, the lackluster customer experience at this branch may deter me from returning as frequently as I once did. I sincerely hope that Tim Hortons takes proactive steps to address these issues and prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of both their customers...
Read moreYesterday I saw a sign on the front of door stating that his location was closed due to lack of staff.
I wanted to take a moment to write this review and share that me and my girlfriend only come to this location in Chatham because of how great the staff are, despite the fact that this location is the furthest away from our home.
We could simply drive or walk to the Tim Hortons that's two minutes away, but we opt to drive to this one almost every night because of how great the staff have been.
One employee especially has been great. His name is Chris and he is, without a doubt, the best Tim Hortons employee I have ever met. This company does not deserve such an amazing and kind employee. Employee shortages are becoming increasingly more common and while it is not always the case, it's been my experience that these shortages are caused by poor management and uncomfortable work environments. I hope that the employees at this location are being treated with respect, and that the company thoroughly and truly looks into why the shortage as this specific location is happening when I have had nothing but great experiences with the staff over the past year.
Canadian perceptions and attitudes towards Tim Hortons is dropping rapidly, hopefully you can figure out why...
