Prescott Sub Shop — Restaurant in Ontario

I've eaten here about 4 times now, and I've always been happy before. Always get the same thing, meatball with lots of veggies, primarily spinach. Now, I think they do a great job, but sometimes a person makes mistakes. I did, just this once, receive spinach that was very obviously past expiration, with about a fifth already rotten, and when the sever pulled the next bin out to use, it was in the same state, so was also the same container. It was from the grocery store, and that's fine and all, but he did not wash said spinach before use either. Just pulled it out and put it in the sandwich. I had to open it up and remove the rot afterwards. Ick.

I'm sort of ok with not washing this once, since it was kinds busy, but the rot was way not ok. As I stated before, this is the exception, not the standard. I do like the food, and everything else is very fresh.

Please do not allow this to happen again, I would be happy to wait for proper cleaning and/or sorting through stock. I would...

First time going the Sub Shop, wait my turn, Lady serves me doesn't seem in very good mood, she makes my sub, only one customer comes in, not even at cash yet, I go to cash she grabs the money it out of my hands before I even had a change to ask if I wanted a meal. She already had the amount on the machine, Not once ask me if I wanted a meal, just took the money and give me my change then took the other customer order, not very good service. Wasn't very impressed especially cause I wanted a meal. The food is aboloselty amazing but the service could be worked on She could of waited and had some patience to ask if I wanted a meal. Good pleasant customer service and fantastic fresh sub, meats, vegetables and wide array of sauce/dressing! We had cold cut and steak and cheese, my steak was large pieces of meat, very different from shredded small pieces at other sub chains.
