Etta's Greeklish Eatery — Restaurant in Ontario

So sad. This place used to be our favourite for brunch and lunch. Not sure if they got new owners and staff but we definitely will not be returning. My 2 girlfriends and I went for brunch for my one friends bday. I could tell it was going to be a mess from the start, as there was clearly only one serve working and we grabbed one of the last tables (at 50% capacity there are 6 tables total inside) Mimosas were served in plastic cups with virtually no Prosecco, Caesar was completely watered down, most likely just vodka and Clamato, no spice no garnish no lemon or lime. Lemon rice soup was warm at best and tasted like raw onions, I know onions are cooked in for flavour but they were definitely not cooked enough. All three of our orders were wrong. The bday girl sent her omelette back with the owner to be remade with the correct ingredients, came back, still wrong. Our server didn’t check in with us once until she cleared our plates at the end. The owner did take the omelette off the bill, But only apologized about how busy they were Fries were store bought, mixed in with a few of their home made old ones... they were very nice, and I felt bad for them, but It was just an overall bad time. it’s a shame how downhill this...

First time in (ive previously only done ordering) last time I'll be coming or ordering from here.

I ordered a single item for take out, and I understand this is a dine in experience. Kid told me roughly 8 minutes. I told myself "just like everywhere else. I'll double that." And I did more then double.

I ordered atound 12:08. There was 2 tables that already had their food, myself and 1 other table that hadn't ordered yet. I skimmed the menu ordered basically within a minute. Got told it would be roughly 8.

I left empty handed at 12:28 gave them over my double grace period.

The ONLY good thing about this place is the price of their food and portion, and NOTHING else.

This place looks like if you went into USA thrift shop and said "ill eat here today" plastic covered chairs, just terrible looking bench seating that looks like its been overdo for removal around 5-7 years ago.

Place has been around a long time. And its overdo for a full deep clean, and big time renovation. It also feels like it cant even make a single order in a reasonable amount of time.

Sad to see. This is the last place I would recommend anyone...

Our experience was not very good. The place was busy but we had arrived before the rush. We waited10 minutes at least to have our table cleaned. People arrived after us were being served and we were there a half an hour before we received our drinks and gave our server our orders. It took 1 hour to get our food, I ordered the homemade gyro the meat was very dry and there was very little tzaki sauce. Our sever was very pleasant but overwhelmed from the poor staffing. There was five of us but I'm afraid none of us will be returning. After 1 and half hours we were offered delicious a macaroon and the drinks were not charged to our bill but it's no replacement for good food and good service. Update I returned to Etta’s and it was a very different experience food and service was great and we will be returning often. Their gyro was the...
