Fat Bastard Burrito Co. — Restaurant in Ontario

Ordered first time through DoorDash in April 2021. We placed a bulk order (CAD 81.66) for us when we visited Kingston, and we were totally disappointed by the poor service of the restaurant. Some of the items we ordered were okay as you expect in a chain restaurant but they messed up w/ one item and their service was poor.

Although I took few months to get the time to write this review today, I still can't forget the rude attitude of the person who responded my call. Long story short- one of our ordered items was not right, and they also did not give any forks & spoons with the order. Given we were in a hotel, it was little difficult for us to manage to eat the food. When I called the restaurant to double-check the item, & let them know about missing cutlery, the person in call was not well-behaved at all. Still remember, he started arguing w/ me instead of offering any sort of customer service at a minimum level. Also, when I told about the missing cutlery, he just did not bother to listen to me and was rude. I wonder how much does it cost to be little polite and show the right professional behavior to your customer. Overall, food was okay (except that item which I had to throw away), and the customer...

Great new burrito place that is open late! I’ve ordered in store take out getting a chicken big burrito and fried avocado. Both were awesome and they aren’t shy with toppings which is great. Fair prices for the amount of food you get! The second order I did with an Uber pickup order. The prices were about 2 more for every item when ordering from an app, which I get covers the cost of them being able to use app for orders. That being said, way cheaper when doing group orders if you go in person, pick and pay. The Uber order I only got because they were having a buy one get one promotion in which I got two tequila baked chicken lil burrito (the big was huge last time - could stand by itself) and two churro chips. When ordering with an app they have all good in sealed bag so if delivered you can tell if it’s been tampered with which is a super nice touch. While I ordered pickup with the app, they still provided this bag, while last time when I ordered in person they only gave normal bag. So nice attention to detail. I normally don’t order tequila and lime burritos but gave it a shot because of the deal. It is very yummy! Gave good portion for churro chips to! Included prices in store for comparison...

Review for the Westend location... Ordered first time through Uber and we were disappointed. Considering they were new at the time, we gave them a benefit of doubt and decided to try them again. Second time we did a walk-in order. Overall experience was poor.

Restaurant was clean and well kept. Menu was decent but that's where it ends. Customer service is poor (young female employee was rude in talking & few others had trouble taking the order). They are super stingy in the stuffing department. They put in 200% efforts to make sure you get small quantities of the items. They are happy to shove cheap fillers like the rice and lettuce. I don't blame the workers as they are merely following the stingy management policies. We paid more for extra proteins. Came home to eat and let's just say our dog was thrilled to get both our meals. Ended up ordering dinner from another place. Bottom line is that if you want an appetizer, go to them. Otherwise there's plenty of good choices in the neighborhood of...
