Frostbite Frozen Treats and More — Restaurant in Ontario

The service is good and friendly. It just seems every time I go there they are closed. I try to stop by after work on the weekend at 9pm and they are closed. I tried taking my grandson Sundays at noon when they open and sat there but to no avail they did not open as scheduled. If I could eat there more frequently I would. I really hope this place is a success because there isn't many HARDY, EXCELLENT QUALITY sandwich/classic food locations around with reasonable prices and definitely worth every penny. Usually you pay alot and get very little. Just wish my scheduled worked with their hours of operation. I would eat here daily honestly if I could and I truly don't like eating out but this place us different. Its like getting a meal out of grandma's kitchen, plentiful, fresh, delicious and CLEAN unlike most places. The owner was busy, which is awesome! I was happy for him. However, I came at 12:30 to get an ice cream which I had been craving for days. Before it was my turn, I heard him mention a couple of times that he doesn't serve ice cream until 3pm. I found this strange as it is advertised as an ice cream spot. I waited patiently for my turn, then chose my ice cream. He was quick to huff and say in a few choice words that the ice cream was to hard to scoop and that's why he doesn't serve it til 3pm. I asked if any ice cream was okay to order as the folks ahead of me all had ice cream. He pointed to one of the coolers and said they were fine. I told him to go ahead and take care of the couple behind me while I looked. I ended up just leaving. I felt like I was bugging him by wanting to support his small business. After hearing good reviews of the subs decided to try. Drove 15 minutes waited 10 minutes as there was a customer in front of me. The child got their own ice cream sample while the food was being prepared 🤷‍♀️ maybe they know the owner I am not sure......anyways I placed my order for 3 subs and was informed they were out of lettuce and it would arrive in 15 minutes I was hesitant to wait unfortunately I did not have 40+ minutes to get back home with food for the kids.
