TEC-Tony Blaks Union Bakery — Restaurant in Ontario

My family has been going to Union Bakery for years, but after today’s experience, I don’t think we’ll be returning. My mother purchased a several pieces of bread expecting the same quality we’ve always enjoyed, only to find it rock solid and completely inedible. We brought it back, assuming they would make it right.

Instead, the staff insisted the bread was "freshly baked," but I find that incredibly hard to believe given how stale and hard it was. Fresh bread should be soft, not something you could use as a paperweight. Even worse, when we asked for a refund, they refused. It’s one thing to have a bad batch, but the way they handled it was completely unacceptable. A reputable bakery should stand by its products and take customer concerns seriously, not dismiss them as if we don’t know what fresh bread is supposed to be like.

After years of supporting this business, I’m beyond disappointed. Working in PR and marketing myself, the quality and customer service was disappointing...

You look at the picture that they advertise on their website and this is what I receive my wife and I was given garbage, first of all I ordered online off their website and when I went to pick up the order my wife went in and asked for our order and they didn't have it we had already paid for it online, so she gave my wife a box of rolls with little to none powdered sugar on top with little to no filling, this is my wife first time ever tasting Paczki and boy was she disappointed this was nothing, not worth the money, you can go to a grocery store and buy 12 rolls and stick fruit filling inside of them, this was nothing special, it was disappointing, I don't understand the hype regarding these things at least from this bakery it...

Me and my partner was just visiting Windsor. We looked for local bakeshop and ended up here. We did ask for their best seller, but the lady upfront just laughed sarcastically at us and told us that everything is their best seller. She wasn’t very helpful at all and seems like doesn’t wanna engage in any conversation at all. All we thought everything is gonna end there. Now, I was just taking a bite this morning of one of their onion bread when I noticed something is moving. Guess what? A freaking cockroach!!! There’s no way it could come from outside since I took them myself and transfer in a ziplock bag from their original plastic bag with the other breads.Don’t ever buy to this bakeshop! Worst...
