We’ve been a regular customer of Gabriel’s Kingston for almost 2 years. Always have our order delivered to our home - city central Kingston. We order pizza, wings, drinks, and deserts usually 1-2 per week.
Lately we’ve noticed the drivers showing up with our orders complete and exactly what we order. But the last few times when we go to pay CASH (which we always stipulate when we call as per the call takers questions) the delivery drivers claim “I have no change” but they were told that we would be paying CASH and should bring change to return exact change.
The last time the delivery driver showed up, claimed he “had no change” and he would take my $50 bill leave the pizza/wing order and return with the exact change which would have roughly been $7.50. Unfortunately I didn’t trust him as a Gabriel delivery driver has scammed me out of $8.00 in the past hoping to get a larger “tip”.
So now because of their shady delivery drivers, we’ve been put on the “no delivery/walk in only” list which is unfortunate because we were loyal customers and spoke highly of how great their food was. The call center was no help at all either even at the supervisor level as it’s clear, based their notes they don’t communicate with the store fronts.

Read moreWe enjoy the pizza here, but the club sandwiches are awful. I have tried pasta as well and it honestly tastes like a microwave dinner. The first club sandwich I ordered was last year and there wasn’t even enough chicken to cover the bread, a bit of wilted lettuce and tomato that had seen better days. The next time we ordered I called to place the order instead of using a delivery service. I mentioned the sandwich from the prior order and was given an apology and a promise to make a great sandwich for me. It wasn’t perfect but definitely better. Fast forward to today, it’s been a few months and I assumed wrongly the club would be fine. I’m convinced they only have a tiny bit of chicken to go around for the day so each time it’s needed, they tear up little scraps to use. We ordered through Uber Eats and instead of relaying this via an app I tried to call the shop directly. I spoke to someone at a call centre who said he would contact the restaurant on my behalf and tell them to do better, and if they don’t I can then receive a $10 credit to use at the restaurant. Read moreI’ve visited this location a few times now, walk in/dine in service and I’ve had food sent out for delivery after a long work week. Our first delivery the driver forgot our drinks, so after placing tonight’s order...in the “special comments” box .. I mentioned on our last delivery we didn’t get our drinks. Gabriel’s pizza called my cell minutes after placing the order apologizing for the drinks not being sent out with our last delivery and that they were going to send out to free drinks on the house for our delivery this evening.
There customer service has exceeded my expectations.
