It’s a very hit and miss place. I ordered two dishes for myself. One was an appetizer chicken seekh kebabs and the other was a Tuesday special makki roti and saag. Taste: the chicken kebabs were nothing to write home about. They were not hot and they were very dry to eat. They did not taste fresh whatsoever. It almost seemed like they were cooked from frozen or premade box stuff. Makki roti and saag was very tasty but again the food was not hot by temperature. Service: Since I was dining alone, I asked the person who took my order if I can get the appetizer first, and then the main dish. I was told that surely it can be done. However, when the food came, the main course was brought first. I asked the server that I had requested for the appetizer first instead of the main dish. The server told me since kebabs take more time to cook. Therefore, the main dish was served first. I said OK and I start eating and within a minute they bring the appetizer out as well. So much for kebabs, taking more time to cook. It was hard to flag down staff for the check or for service. A lot of the time they were just walking around very lazy and not really paying attention to the patrons at the table. Ambience: the music was insanely loud as a result of which people were literally yelling across tables to talk to each other.

The food was really nice. We ordered sev puri and manchurian with naan. And it was really worth it. The service by two girls named Navneet and Simran was so good. 🔥🔥

I recently enjoyed a take-out meal from this fabulous restaurant, trying their Halal Chicken Kadahi along with Tawa Roti, Tandoori Roti, and Garlic Naan. The Garlic Naan was an absolute highlight for me, perfectly flavored and textured, making it my favorite. The Tandoori Roti was also quite good, though I found the Tawa Roti a bit small in size, which left me curious if it’s traditionally served that way. The Chicken Kadahi was a feast for the senses. Loaded with a rich blend of spices and ginger, which stood out beautifully, the chicken was tender, excellently marinated, and the addition of peppers and onions only made it more enjoyable. The Mango Lassi, topped with a sprinkle of nuts, was the perfect sweet touch to my meal. Its sweetness and thick texture were thoroughly pleasing, offering a delightful contrast to the spicy Chicken Kadahi. I highly recommend checking them out for their reasonable prices and the quality of food that truly gives you value for your money. I’m definitely looking forward to trying more dishes from them in the future. Came back and this time dinned in

Disappointing Lunch Experience at Mint Leaf Restaurant

I recently visited Mint Leaf Restaurant for lunch, based on a recommendation from a local friend. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations.

We ordered the Achari Chicken Tikka and Rara Chicken, but were disappointed to find that the chicken in both dishes was not fresh. It was tough and required significant effort to cut through with a fork.

The Rara Chicken was particularly underwhelming, lacking flavor and seasoning, with only a hint of cinnamon. The dish was a disaster, and I wouldn't recommend it.

While the service was slow, I do appreciate the owner's willingness to listen to feedback and concerns. This shows that the restaurant is committed to improving, which is a positive sign.

Overall, I would give Mint Leaf Restaurant 2.5 stars out of 5. While there were some redeeming qualities, the subpar food quality and slow service detracted from our overall experience. Hopefully, the restaurant will take our feedback on board and make necessary improvements.

Rating: 2.5/5 stars

Recommendation: Improve food quality, particularly the freshness of ingredients, and work on...

The food has been consistently good for all my orders. Take out, Delivery and Dine in. For me, I enjoy the flavours and presentation of the food items.

Service wise, I have never experienced any issues with staff. Everyone has been polite and welcoming. The Manager is present and you can see her keeping an eye on everything. She also does quality checks which I like.

However… There is one girl in Take out who is absolutely a lovely person and her customer services is excellent…but she struggles with math and this affects her ability to sometimes give the proper change when paying in cash. I’ve never said anything to her about it as she’s only shorted me a few dollars at times and it appeared more like an issue with counting the money than anything. So I let it slide as she was just so pleasant.

Ways they can improve: Often the tables have a film on them. I think they just need to change their cleaning rags out more often. The bathrooms are in need of some TLC and cleaning. The water runs cold in the bathroom, which isn’t a big deal but warm water would be nice. Toilets, floors, walls, doors, and counters need...
