Joe’s Diner — Restaurant in Ontario

Their food is... Alright when i compare the taste, portion size with cost. Ive had many menu items but i find them too be expensive overall and the portions are not enough in comparison to cost. For example in photos you will see a meal ordered for a double bacon cheese burger with onion rings. We got 8 onion rings for full cost🤷🏽‍♀️ If you choose no side with your sandwich; its still full price🤨😐🤷🏽‍♀️👀 the burgers are tasty however.

The bacon & egg muffin sandwich is good but needs to have more then 2 pcs of bacon to even the egg and bread ratio. The broccoli soup was amazing. The omlette was good but not enough of a portion size for price. Their hash fries are not good. Their cesar salade... Not good at all. Idk why they give customers pink/brown lettuce. Dressing tastes too vinigrette. Nothing about the salade was good😷

Their online menu is incorrect reflecting prices that are lower then what they charge- thats called false advertising. 😶👀

I would give this place a 5 star if their food portions were more generous to the cost of the food a customer is paying & if they were more consistently open. This place has weird/odd hours making it hard to keep up when they are open. They close for 2 hours mid day/ close early in the day & they arent open for the dinner/evening hours- which is when most people want to get food- so we travel to Stratford for more food options as there is barely anything in St Marys (another reason they should have more consistent hours).... with reflecting correct prices too...

We have eaten at Joe's Diner a few times now and have been happy with the quality of their food as well as their excellent service each and every time!!

This time we were all in the mood for burgers and man oh man were they delicious!! It was great because you could customize what goes on your burger and it is made the way you like it. I just got fried mushrooms, mayo and cheddar cheese on mine and it was so good!! I got a side of onion rings which were also really good!! And I had a slice of Hawaiian Dream pie for dessert...a delicious finish to an excellent meal!!

We ate at a weird time of day, so the place was a bit quieter than normal, but even when they are busy, I still found the service there to be very good!!

Do make sure you check their hours before going as it isn't the same everyday and they aren't open super late!! They do serve breakfast all day as well, which is nice, and they also have excellent fish and chips!!

Stopped in here for a late breakfast after the town wide yard sale. Nice to see they offer all day breakfast and have a great selection of lunch items and also a kids menu. This is the same owner that owns the one in Stratford. The service was excellent, fast and friendly and even though they were busy we felt like they genuinely cared about our experience. The "over easy" eggs were over cooked on both breakfasts which was disappointing, the sausage was very good, lean and not fatty, I wasn't a big fan of their home fries simply because they are deep fried, I prefer mine the old fashioned way on the flat top, but my partner liked them. Kids mac n cheese got a thumbs up too! Will definitely be back...
