I don't normally leave reviews this long but here goes. Even if u can't get a seat u can have it delivered to you with the eat-here app. Overall, it is a definite spot to check out.

Pros: Sevice is quick. Service is friendly and attentive. I really recommend eating here. The menu gives enough detail, as to what is contained in each dish.

The gyoza (fried dumplings) are the best here! The size of them are really nice and they're fully stuffed, which a lot of restaurants don't do here in London. Most restaurants for dumplings are lacking in stuffing them properly. Or the wrappers become loose and it falls apart. Here, they're constructed really well.

The Shoyu Ramen, the broth wasn't too salty, it was clear, and full of flavor. The noodles weren't overcooked and had enough bite to them.

The tonkotsu Ramen, not my particular preferrence, but I tried it and my family loves it. The broth is full of flavor too. Noodles had enough bite. But what made it really good was the slices of pickled ginger that weren't powerful. It actually balanced the dish out.

They have other dishes I haven't tried yet.

My biggest plus point are the noodles. If you can't finish it and decide to take the rest of your food home. It doesn't get that chalky or disintegrated consistency after re-heating on the stove top or microwave.

Cons: Limited tables. Don't sit by the door unless you want to catch the breeze from the doorway. Washroom is in the basement has...

My buddy is a ramen connoisseur and wanted me to try this place since I'm such a food critic😄.

Pork Gyoza (8.6/10). Best I've had so far. Big & Thick. Interesting them being served upside from being fried. Soy Sauce was great and complimented well.

Onigiri with Salmon (8.4/10). Hmmm, how many anime shows have I seen this in and didn't know the name🤔😄. WHY ISN'T THIS OFFERED IN SUSHI RESTAURANTS?! Sticky rice and salmon quality were great.

Tonkutsu King (8.9/10). I've never had ramen in Japan and I'm told this place has beat places in Toronto for awards. Maybe could be in the 9s, but I'm playing the score safe. Easily the best I've had. Freshly made noodles, Naruto fish patties, soft boiled eggs, quality pork, Broth was rich and flavorful. Not that spicy, but good flavor. Definitely will get again or will try something else, bur will recommend and get this again.

Tokayaki (7.4/10). Octopus balls with sauce. The concept and the texture is something that doesn't quite sit with me and likely not for others. It was fresher and better flavor than Kinten Ramen, but this is a dish in general that I'm not going to seek out again.

Probably the best ramen place in London if not Southern Ontario potentially. Fresh and quality ingredients, fast service, fair prices. Will definitely return again and definitely recommend for people to try. I'd rate this place more in the 4.8-4.9/5 on...

By far one of the best ramen restaurants I've stumbled across. There are only 3 others across multiple cities that are on the same level of quality but vary in price and selection.

Out of the culmination of all of these, Kenzo is the best 'bang for buck' one could hope for.

I should point out, however, that Kenzo ramen is a chain/franchise. The London location in my experiences thus far has proven to be the superior location by a fairly significant margin.

The broth is made perfectly and with a surprising amount of care; not too little or too much of whatever prime ingredient each broth uses lends to a delicate balance of flavors where nothing is overshadowed.

In addition, a personal measure of excellence I look out for is consistency. I have been a patron of this location for many years and I've yet to have a single dish be at odds with prior iterations.

The menu is not overly complicated and I am a strong believer in this being a positive. A small selection of sides to complement the Ramen offers just enough in case one would want something to snack on.

The gyoza is sublime. While the price originally raised a brow, I quickly realized that you truly get what you pay for. The portion is quite generous and there's a substantial amount of meat, rather than dough or cheap filling.

I will continue to give this place business for many more years to come.

I highly...

I’m a Ramen beginner. My main experiences with ramen are instant noodles. I’ve tried authentic Ramen before and was very shocked and kinda disappointed that it was nothing like the noodles I was familiar with. This is my second try at it and I LOVED the Shoyu Ramen from Kenzo Ramen. It was a delicious salty broth (not creamy) with plenty of flavour and the thin, curly noodles I love (I learned my mistake from the first time: I don’t like udon). All the other parts of ramen that I was always scared to try were all great. The Naruto (which I think doesn’t come with this dish, but I got anyway) tastes like bland imitation crab. But if you let that and the egg soak in your broth for a long time, they both taste delicious. I prefer to skip the menma (tastes like mushrooms, which I hate), but the pork shoulder was so yummy and satisfying. Overall, as a newbie to good ramen, I consider this to be good ramen.

For more than a year, I’ve wanted to dine at Kenso Ramen. What stopped me was finding the entrance. Despite my many failed attempts, a friend encouraged me to keep looking, because he has been a few times. Today, I made it! I hungrily asked for a Tonkotsu King to start. It’s a creamy pork bone soup. It has a lot of noodles and broth, 4 pieces of chashu pork, 3 eggs, 3 pieces of narutomaki (cured fish surimi), menma (condiment from fermented bamboo shoots), beansprouts, baby bok choy, green onion, and red ginger. I was in love with the eggs and broth. I ended with an appetizer. It was tonkatsu with a dipping sauce. I had this some months ago but didn’t like it. The sauce ruined it for me back then, but today, it was delightful. You heard it from me. The soup was a ten and the tonkatsu wasn’t half bad.
