The drivethru is clearly supposed to be open for 24 hours. We arrived right after 3am. Well, the lights were off, menus turned around, speakers covered & there wasn't anyone visibly around. We sat at the second window for awhile & my friend knocked on it for at least four minutes (luckily, 'cause I wouldn't have had the nerve. I would have just left & done a onestar review, wishing for zero stars). Two employees eventually showed up, a male (dressed like a night manager) & female (regular drivethrough employee. Lord only knows what they were doing all that time =/ I don't have a dirty mind, but THAT seems like the only explanation behind this. Also, behind his anger & BOTH their messed up hair & uniforms, again BOTH with half tucked in shirts. Not just an immature assumption). My driver friend asked the female if they were open & she said "yes". The ice cream machines are always turned off at 3am, so we expected that. That's at every McDonald's, even though it's disappointing & unfortunate. So, the male angerly rushed us saying, "hurry up. We're closing in five minutes!". Really? Closing? Aroo?? We should have said something, but were unnecessarily intimidated by his anger, as well as frustrated & rushed ourselves. The menus were not visible when we passed the unavailable order speaker. So my friends were under pressure to order, without knowing what they wanted. Anyway, we got our food semipromptly..ish, though sadly thrown together. Everything was askew & half-assed, missing ingredients. The service was unacceptably rude & we were lucky to get anyone at the window (thanks to my driver friend's perseverance). One star for eventual service & warm food. Also, there's no half~star option. That would have been for the restaurant itself for being "open" at that time... Well, you know what I mean. They were SUPPOSED to be open & available. I would have given the service a zero. I'm pretty certain they only answered the window because it seemed my friend wasn't going to stop & they MAY have possibly been concerned about us perhaps getting them in trouble in some way. I ordered 2 poutines 1 came as it should and the other had no gravy, idk why they would charge me an extra $5 just for them to put the fries in a box. Then I asked for my burger with no onion or pickle and it had the sticker on it that said no onion or pickle yet both were on the burger. When I went back the manger refused to refund or discount my order even after waiting in the 20 minute drive through twice. Then when I said forget it I don’t want the food just give me the refund she gave me the wrong change and argued with me refusing to give the correct amount because I had the 2 drinks from the combos at home. Had I known they weren’t capable of doing a discount I would’ve have brought the drinks. It’s ridiculous that I’m expected to pay full price for an order that I had to make two trips for, especially such a simple order and such a long wait time. Thought about going back tomorrow to talk to a different manager and getting a full refund but they didn’t put a receipt in the bag and I paid cash so I have no proof...
Read more❌️❌️❌️I recently visited this McDonald's location around 3:30 AM for a drive-thru order, and I was extremely disappointed with my experience. After placing my order, I waited in the drive-thru for nearly 15 minutes. As I looked inside, I could clearly see that the entire staff was dancing together to music rather than attending to customers.
I knocked on the window to get their attention, and after a long wait, one employee finally came to the window. Instead of apologizing for the delay, they made a joke about me. This behavior is completely unacceptable. It is concerning to think that McDonald's employees are using company time to party rather than serve customers.
I strongly recommend that the supervisor or management review the security footage from that time and take appropriate action against the staff members involved. Customers should not be subjected to delays or disrespectful behavior during their visit.
I hope McDonald's addresses this issue to ensure it does not happen again...
