The server was very dismissive and was on the phone the whole time while rushing me to order even though I was the only person in there, he was even talking about me to the person on the phone. I told him I was very hungry and he convinced me to get the small meal and said he would make sure there is a lot of meat and veggies. I was very disappointed that I paid over $17 for a small chicken and rice and 2 cans of pop because the container was literally filled with rice and there was barely even a 1/4 cup of chicken. The taste was less than desirable, hummus tasted very strongly of tahnin and nothing else, no salt, no lemon. The chicken also lacked any kind of good flavor and tasted very strongly of orange and lemon zest. This was a complete waste of my money and will never go back there, no matter how hungry I am, I will drive the extra distance and go somewhere else. Like I'm soo turned off by all the chunks of fat that I am biting down on, thinking that it's actual meat that I only ate the lettuce, pickles and a couple mouthful of rice and threw the rest in...
Read morePurchased food from here a handful of times. I’ve tried both the chicken shawarma plates and wraps. The quality of the food is subpar but it is edible. If you are drunk or high with the munchies, this place will get the job done.
I bought a shawarma wrap yesterday after studying for 12 hours. The wrap was wrapped poorly resulting with all the food pouring out onto my jacket and jeans. I also noticed the worker placing the wrapped shawarma onto the press which resulted with the paper glueing to the bread. He also slid the inner white paper inside the wrap itself so I was forced to unwrap the entire shawarma and dissect the pieces of paper hiding inside the food itself before even attempting to eat it. On top of that, I spent a tedious amount of time trying to peel the paper off the bread, some areas refused to peel so I had to eat around it. I contemplated throwing the entire thing away due to the frustration but I was too hungry to throw it out.
Avoid the wraps and only buy food here if you are starving or experiencing the munchies under...
Read more(2025/05/13) Tried the Beef Shawarma Wrap and Falafel today, both were good. Personally, I would prefer the chicken one, with tenderer meat. The Falafel looked and tasted special, a bit different from typical Falafel, but overall not bad.
(2025/04/27) Had a visit today and ordered a Chicken Shawarma Combo. A very small place with only 2 seats, so mainly takeaway. But quite efficient, got everything within 5 minutes. Overall a satisfying experience, with space for improvements.
The Chicken Shawarma Wrap was good, consisting of a decent portion of authentic Chicken Shawarma pieces, Hummus, Garlic Sauce and Salads. Great size, the combo is absolutely enough for a meal. The chicken was seasoned, but a little bit hard. If the chicken was more tender, then the wrap would be close to one of the best that I ever had. The Fries were okay. Properly seasoned but a bit cold, probably not fried just now.
The nearest Shawarma spot from the campus, definitely an option for a quick...
