After teasing us for so long Packs deli has finally opened! My son and I arrived early afternoon on Saturday and as expected it was pretty busy. I ordered takeout the pack deli express special for myself, smoked meat wrap for my wife, And my son well he wanted chicken wings lol. I was told about 10 min wait but it turned into 25. I caught on they served my sons wings to a person dining in by accident,(it happens) They cannot re serve those wings so they had to drop a new batch. I do wish that they approached me when it happened but it’s OK as they were fairly busy and they still trying to figure out their new business. You can tell they felt horrible for making me wait as other customers had come and gone. At the end the owner added a sliver of cheesecake for the wait. Packs express, wish the meat was cut a little bit thinner but otherwise 10/10. The fries were nothing special but the coleslaw was delicious. Smoked meat wrap, again, I wish the meat was cut a little bit thinner otherwise 10/10, the side of fries, meh nothing special. Chicken wings, right from my son‘s mouth, they were some of the best chicken wings I’ve ever had dad. Finally the sliver of strawberry cheesecake that was given as an apology for the wait was well worth it. Definitely some of the best cheesecake I’ve had to date, almost didn’t share it with the rest of the family haha, we will be grabbing a few slices in the future. Overall this this a great addition to Belleville and will become a staple for years to come.

Well was it worth the wait. My self i was disappointed with the meal we had tonight. I understand there are opening jitters that must be over come. When we came in unfamiliar with there routine we asked if the was table and yes was the answer, but two party's that came after us that walked up to the deli counter did get there food served to there table before we got our order. The food did not come out all at the same time. The selection of none sweetened beverages was limited to diet coke. My Monteral smoked meat sandwich had a strange twist to it, one half was a good sandwich. When I bit into the other half I was sorting through the meat to see if some one had put hot peppers in it but none were found. Where the heat came from is still a puzzle. Wife had the roast beef but was disappointed to find the beef was cold and not warm. If she had been aware of that she would not have ordered it. She did like her sweet potato fry. I realized it takes time to get a smooth run process in place. I will give them a couple of month...
