TL;DR:** Aesthetically pleasing overall, but the dining experience could use more attention. My partner and I wanted to check out the new pho spot since we’ve been hoping for one closer to home—*Pho 4 U* is usually our go-to. We started with the shrimp fresh rolls. They were tasty, but quite small and could’ve been rolled tighter. I ordered the house special pho and added extra tendon for the collagen benefits. The broth is great. When I tried to scoop some noodles, there was an overwhelming amount, and they were awkwardly tough at the bottom—kind of like when you order pho on UberEats and the noodles have been sitting separately before being added to the broth. Stirring them before serving could’ve helped a lot. The extra tendon wasn’t as much as I expected for the additional $4–5. In hindsight, I should’ve asked for it on the side to better gauge the portion. I also tried a bit of my partner’s dish—grilled pork chop with grilled chicken, egg meatloaf, egg, and fried rice. The chicken was good, the pork chop slightly overdone, and the meatloaf unfortunately unappetizing—about 50% of it went uneaten. The sugar cane juice had a nice flavor but it finished with a fermented aftertaste, possibly from starting to go stale. The $5.95 coffee was also pretty small, especially when compared to the more generous serving at Pho 4 U. The total came to nearly $80, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a very pleasant dining/eating experience. When we asked for takeout, the server only gave us a container without a bag. Would be courteous to provide one instead of having to ask at the end. The service is very fast & friendly. While the atmosphere is nice (likely a carryover from the previous Japanese restaurant), I think it makes the workers a little too relaxed.

Upon my recent visit, I was greeted with warmth by the friendly staff, setting the tone for a delightful culinary experience. I embarked on this journey with the intent to provide an honest review, focusing solely on the food. My order consisted of Mango Sago dessert, rice, pork, egg, egg meatloaf, and shrimp, accompanied by a lychee shake. The food arrived promptly, each dish carefully prepared and presented. The pork was a standout, with its fantastic texture and flavor profile. Similarly, the shrimp was delicious and the presentation was both clean and simple. I was pleasantly surprised by the egg meatloaf, which offered a unique flavor profile that I thoroughly enjoyed. The egg was perfectly cooked, and the pickled, sweet side salad complemented the meal beautifully. I would give the food a solid 5-star rating overall. The Mango Sago, though unique and different, may not cater to everyone's taste, but it's certainly worth trying. A lovely touch was the complimentary tea, which was served continuously throughout the meal, enhancing the overall experience. I believe this establishment competes well with some of London's top Vietnamese restaurants. I highly recommend giving it a try, not only for the exquisite dishes but also for the welcoming atmosphere. I eagerly anticipate revisiting to explore more menu items and look forward to reading the experiences of others.

Ordered: Special Beef Rice Noodle Soup (Assorted), Rare Beef, Beef Flank and Beef Ball Pho, and Pad Thai Mild Pad Thai was fine. Had nice wok hay flavour. Shrimp was nicely cooked and decent amount. Ordered mild and received spicy. Notified our server twice to ask and confirm. Would have appreciated an offer to correct per customer service. Pho was good but a bit salty. Tendon could be softer. Beef and beef balls were nice. Basil and bean sprouts were good portions and very fresh. Noodle portions were fine but for what you pay it’s pricey compared to others I often go to. OK THE CHILI!! (Last pic) Fragrant, tastes like grandma’s - honestly, it’s the winner here. 10/10 for the table chili. Service: very friendly but not attentive or timely. Should check in on tables at least once after they receive food. We were only one of three tables at the time as we dined later in the night, so it was not busy at the time. (I have been a server for years so this is something I notice) Needed to ask for grand opening and Google review discount after being brought the bill the first time. Overall pretty good. Would come here again because of convenient location.
