Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Ontario

This place provides the absolute worst customer service. I have ordered from them multiple times and every time there has been something wrong with the order. Here are the two most recent ones. Placed my order online for pick up, 20 minutes later I go to pick up the pizza and walk past someone walking out of the restaurant. They had just given my order to that customer... I had to wait another 20 minutes for my order and they refused to do anything for me even though it was their fault. I get people make mistakes but there are opportunity to fix those mistakes and keep customers. The most recent time, I ordered my pizza/wings online through the app. The app gives a countdown timer of "40 minutes or its free" placed the order shortly after 9, I kept checking my phone periodically to see how much time is left and saw the timer go from 1 minute to 0, less than a minute the doorbell rang. I showed the delivery driver the phone with it saying 0 and he refused to honor it saying he had another 10minutes, even though he was looking directly at the phone with the app running. He calls customer service and they also claim I submitted order 10minutes after of when I actually submitted it. If that had actually been the case why did my phone run out of time? The delivery driver informed me "Not to use the app because it is not accurate" what? and also claimed that their restaurant didn't do 40 minutes or its free at first. They ended up taking the pizza back and told me to call customer service myself. After talking to customer service and being put on hold and escalating the issue, I was able to talk to a "manager" after speaking with him, he agreed the pizza would be free and it would be arriving in 10 minutes. 40 minutes later my pizza arrives. A cold, squashed pizza and dried out wings, it was the same pizza i had ordered 2 hours prior. I've never met a company who flat out refuses to honor a program they have in place when a customers SHOWS them on THEIR app that the time ran out. If your computer system submitted it 10 minutes after that is...

this pizza pizza location should stop thinking so much about the profits and start to look at what they offer to their customers.... ☹️the menu of specials never changes ☹️the amount of food toppings is small ☹️the pizza 'bread' dough is too greasy...almost as bad as the pizza hut (I already stopped buying pizzas from those stores)..probably easier to bake if they oil it so much...but the pizzas become even more unhealthy if they use so much cheap oil to bake them ☹️the cost of individual slices is rediculous ☹️the pizza sauce is NOT tasty....ask your suppliers to get more creative with the flavour of the sauces you receive in big plastic bags from them🤪maybe demand they should use real tomatoes to prepare those pizza sauces from?!

I might stop coming and buying pizzas from this franchise and this location in Caledonia,...

Unfortunately this pizza pizza has disappointed many times over. I've received late deliveries, and on one occasion, a delivery where the "tamper proof box" was open. Also, i understand that small items come with a tamper-proof sticker. In the same case as my tampered pizza, i recieved a box of chicken wings with no sticker on the box to keep it closed. This ofcourse leads me to believe that both the pizza and the side items have been tampered with.

Simply put, I do not feel safe eating at this establishment.

Update 05/08/21 - pizza pizza would not offer refund and customer service rep said "i cant help i need to hang up".
