Seguin Patate — Restaurant in Ontario

I've been here a few times as I live close by, and everything has been good so far, however today I made the mistake of ordering 2 all dressed cheese dogs, I say mistake because I found myself struggling not to go back an hour later for 9 more. As a large, straight male, I can honestly say I've never wanted to shove a weiner in my mouth more than I do now, as a hotdog fan, I can honestly say most places drop the ball when it comes to the hotdog, often opting to serve up a larger tasteless dog, on a cold bun, with crap toppings, well not here my fellow hotdog fans, these hotdogs were cooked to perfection, carefully wrapped in a warm fresh roll, and topped with what can only be described as the perfect collection of hotdog toppings and finished with a beautiful coleslaw that takes the entire masterpiece to a whole, notha, level! Until today I was of the opinion you had to go to Quebec for a perfect dog, come to find out you can simply wander on over to Seguins Patate to enjoy the perfect dog, unfortunately I am only here in Cornwall for a short time, that said I have every intention of enjoying as many top notch cheese weiners possible until my departure.

I should point out every single time I have headed over the service has always been with a smile, and welcoming attitude, they did not judge as I stood there salivating at the menu, not once did they yell "get out of here till ya know what ya want sausage lover" like the angry hotdog cart guy I won't mention, Jimmy...

I will end with this, if you are a fellow hotdog afficionado, tired of having questionable meat served on a bun under the guise of "hotdog" stop trowing your money away on lesser quality hotdogs and come here, I assure you, you will be thrilled with the quality, and service, keep up the good work and I'll be back, probably...

When the name of your business include the word Fries you expect to receive fresh cold cuts what a disappointment to see the clerk pouring a bag of frozen potato in the deep fryer that was the first turn off sign . I ordered the poutine small size which was not bad of the greavy taste, cheese curds were not bad but still disappointed about the fries... I also order a cheeseburger with bacon and it was overfilled with condiments ... like the clerk inside doesn't understand that you don't have to wet and soak the burger to make it alldress.. Beef was over cook and dry what the put pre-cook bacon like 15seconds microwave maple leaf bacon in the box!!!

My recommendation is to go with fresh cold cuts Russet or Yukon Gold . For burgers Go with the ratio 70% meat and 30% fat. After all remember your customer don't come for the diet aspect. And please cook real bacon !!! . Add some love and some taste to your food!!!

All this cost me 14.00$ with a can of coca cola which didn't disappoint me because Coca-Cola always taste Coca-Cola expectation always meet !

It was extremely disappointing to find that despite it being quiet, my fries were stale-tasting, old and cold. Not to mention bland and soft like mashed potatoes instead of crispy fries.

The gravy was COLD and chunky. The cheese curds were flavorless and hard to even find under all the gravy. Cheap. Overall tasted bad and I'm not very hard to please.

I feel awful for the Cornwall residents rating this place as the best poutine when Quebec is so close.

Pretty shocking since pretty much all they do is make fries. You had one job.

Do not recommend. Save your $10...
