Starbucks UCC — Restaurant in Ontario

Went in to redeem a birthday drink after signing up for the app. Staff scanned it, said “it’s not working,” and gave up after one minute. No effort, no explanation, just “sorry, nothing we can do.” I left disappointed.

Later realized I hadn’t set my birthday in the app. I fixed it, went back. Same thing. This time they told me I needed to have my birthday set a week in advance, something they never mentioned the first time. Again, no workaround, no offer to help. Just told to email corporate.

would give it 0 stars if possible. always charge more than any other starbucks... charged me for "no water", even though i've gotten the same drink for years with "no water" and have never been charged extra, so I expressed that and I got told "too bad, you got lucky". also apparently cant upsize drink cups for free, but you can at any other starbucks. somehow my drink came to $9.21 when its only $7.30 at other starbucks. ripping...

asked to put my drink in a venti cup. Told me it’s IMPOSSIBLE although it been a thing in other starbucks shops. During March 21 but one get one free event, they told me that the event is not available in this location??? Should starbuck event be available in all locations??? Why does university starbuck have an expection? Because they want to make us university student even more broke...
