I went with a group of friends and I had a terrible experience.

This was my second time here. The first time I had the linguine, and it was bland and tasteless. I decided to come back with a group of 6 people.

To specify, both times, I found the service to good. Additionally, the appetizers and drinks were also good.

The issue presented itself in all of the main courses.

This time I ordered the carne asada, and it was a poor excuse for the real dish. The steak was unseasoned and was definitely not ‘carne asada’. I wasn’t expecting a perfect replica, but it was honestly inedible and hard. The “queso” was something alike to cottage cheese and had absolutely no taste. The rice was bland and the pico de gallo was just a few tomato’s and onions chopped up. The presentation was sad and right when I got it I was disappointed. I did not eat this dish.

The dishes my friends ordered we’re also subpar, many of them leaving it behind. The grilled cheese and the buffalo mac and cheese was inedible.

I’m here for Shrimp Linguini, but the one they gave me was completely bland. I ask the server to check if there’s something wrong, they just gave me a small bowl of butter saying that I can have extra butter if I want to add more (also mix the linguini with butter in a cold plate should not be the way how you make it).

I emphasized that they didn’t add anything in it, no salt no butter, no taste at all. The manager came to me asking if I want anything else because he didn’t want to disappoint me by the linguini again.

I just want to make sure if that’s the kitchen’s mistake and he was avoiding this question all the time.

Nice place to have lunch when at UWO campus. Changes menus regularly. My favourites are the burrito bowl and the fried chicken salad. Service is good and fast. Prices are fair for quantity. Great for allocating big groups, and sometimes they have live music on a small stage at the end back of the room. If you like your privacy there are several divisors you may ask the server to use keeping your table privated from the rest of the hall. I personally prefer tables with views to the library and the concrete beach. If you prefer grab and go, you may either call them and place your order, which you will pickup at the bar.
