So - my husband ; myself and my special needs 4 year old daughter drove to this location tonight around 6pm. My husband waited in the car with my daughter and I went inside to make our order. When I got in the location there was a family of 3 who were making an order so because of Covid I chose to stand 6feet away over at the cash register to make my order.. while i was waiting 4 people walked into the front door and the man working behind the counter immediately started serving them... the other person working was a female and she began to change out a mans change for Bill's.. . i said to the lady 'uhmm i was here first before all those people and he is serving them and not me even though I was waiting in line' to which she replied with an attitude 'well you were standing in the wrong place'
I ended up leaving the restaurant and my family and I gave our business to someone else. it wasnt worth the fight. I had already stood in what I thought was a reasonable place to stand..obviously I was standing there for a reason.. no one goes to subway just to watch others be served... I was obviously standing there to make an order. They knew I was standing there... I'm 6 feet tall and covered head to toe in tattoos... so it's not like they didnt see me.. Just horrendous customer service. We wont be going to this location in the future. We ended up going to a different subway location and when I mentioned what happened at this location they agreed that it was ridiculous and said 'if the worker saw you standing in the 'wrong place' (at the cash register) why didnt she tell you ... that's her job' To which I said right!
like if I had never been to subway and I'm standing at the register to make an order ... your worker should tell the person .. oh well your 2 workers working tonight made your location miss out on...
Read moreService was HORRIBLE. Ordered through Uber Eats BIG MISTAKE. I had a problem before with Uber Eats I should never have ordered through them again. I use skip the dishes. I placed my order. You can't order COMBOS on any of the restaurants of subway anymore. I had to pay for sub separately, then iced tea, then cookies. I noticed when I was tracking the order the sub they were going to prepare was NOT what I ordered! She said it would be right when he picked it up and she'd make a brand new one. My son literally gets the easiest sub ever - ham toasted with orange cheese and Mustard. That's it. The sub they were going to send had Cucumber and spinach and onions and tomatoes, lettuce etc. So sub arrives. It's disgusting. Barely toasted, 2 pieces of Swiss and lettuce? I call her back and she said well I took the toppings off before he took it. I said you said you were making a new one to send, and you've just yanked the veggies out of the old one and sent it? Bad heslth and safety, how many people touched that sub? It was cold. I said deliver a proper one please I've paid for it and you've made a mistake. She says ok, she will make a new one and get someone to deliver it. 10 minutes. I called and hour and half later because no sub, i asked where is it?? and she said well the new one is here but no one can bring it and hung up. Never called to let me know! My husband is going to pick it up. They need to make a new one, I'm not taking home the 'new' sub she made that's an hour and a half old? Toasted but sitting to get cold? Holy health risk I'm not feeding that to my child. Never going there again. She hung up on me which is beyond rude. I visited recently with a valid coupon for a Meatballer sub. As I walked in, an employee saw me, then walked to the back and delayed taking my order to trim his beard. When he finally approached, I let him know I had a coupon, and he immediately responded in a dismissive and rude tone, saying that the version with mozzarella cheese now costs extra and couldn’t be used with the coupon.
Not only was his attitude unprofessional, but he also made it very clear he didn’t want to be doing his job. The overall service was unwelcoming and made me feel like a burden rather than a valued customer.
I hope you address this issue, as it reflects poorly on the Subway brand and discourages return visits.
its pathetic that they let foreign students who treat a resturant unprofessional disgusting and have no respect for customers time and convience yet they do not hire highschool students that have common sense and want to work these workers they have are lazy do not properly communicate or follow health & food standards of Ontario they definitely do not have their health food standards in check nor do they have safe food handling certicifications required to be an employee at any place that makes food as the workers lack personal hygeine, cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
