So....I took my son in to buy a new mattress, he laid n tried a handful of the floor models and found a super comfy n soft mattress for a decent price. The salesman tells me they are selling the floor model but has 1 or 2 new in the back...i told him i want a new one. But upon delivery, the driver tells me "they end up finding a new one for u instead of the floor model so they sent over a brand new mattress for ya". I was confused because I didn't ask for the floor model to begin with. Anyways, it sat in my hallway overnight. The next morning, I go to put it in my son's room and not only does the pattern on the mattress look completely different, but it's an Xtra firm mattress. I called to explain that I believe they sent the wrong mattress. The guy on phone goes into over explaining things, too much tbh, n tells me it is the one I chose n it can be a Lil stiff at first with it being a new mattress...ummm, what...I don't think so. When u buy a soft mattress, it should be soft to begin with. He also includes to tell me they cannot take it back n that I'm basically stuck with it. So, it's been a few nights now n my son is having the worst sleeps, because of it being too firm. So now I'm out $700 and having to go elsewhere for a different mattress. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! They will send out a totally different mattress and try convince u that it's what u chose. Also, while waiting for the salesman to get paperwork n stuff in order, my younger son (who is autistic) was in his own lil world n doing his lil jibber jabber noises he makes....the one guy looks over the counter n says "why u making all those weird noises buddy...something wrong with ya?" I was so offended by him saying that. Who tf says that to a child? I should've listened to my hubby when he told me to cancel it before the delivery. Cuz now I'm out quite a bit of money on this one. Thanks guys....thanks alot. Was my first time ever in this store and I will never shop...
Read moreI would not recommend purchasing furniture from here and I highly do NOT recommend purchasing the warranty. I purchased a reclining sofa just over a year ago, and right after the 1 year mark a rip occurred on one of the recliners. At first I wasn't worried as I had purchased the add-on warranty. It quickly went downhill after that. I contacted the third party company in charge of the warranty through their online form. It said someone would reach out in 2-3 days. Two weeks later still nothing, so I phoned them. Apparently their system was down the day I contacted them, so they had me email them instead. A few days later they replied that the claim was rejected as the rip was unknown. The rip occurred from closing the recliner. I'm still in the process of writing back and forth with the service company to understand why they would help if I manually damaged the sofa by cutting it, but won't help in the case of the using the sofa properly. I reached out to Surplus to get help or see if money could be returned for what appears to be a useless warranty and to get a copy of the terms and conditions I never received, and I was told they wouldn't help, wouldn't send the terms, and to deal with the other company. It's unfortunate the lack of customer care and service. I will definitely be going to the competitors in the future. Please be aware if you're...
Read moreI am the customer who bought the bed frame matrix desk here last month. I got a defective product here(Bed Frame). It was a defective product from the beginning no matter how much I continued to make it following the manual.I could understand it because it was a common case to be honest. But the problem was that I felt quite dissatisfied with their customer service when I wanted an exchange. They said I, the client, had a question, but their female staff finished the call first.I felt considerable rudeness. So I called again, but they didn't answer the phone on purpose. When you pressed the call 4 more times, they reluctantly got a male employee to answer the phone.I e-mailed them about the defective part of the product, but they didn't reply either.(Obviously, she told me she would reply on Thursday.) Finally, I asked the delivery company to cut the length of the support, so I am using the product after fixing it myself.I have never felt so bad since I lived in Canada for more than two years. The price of the defective product was almost $300, but I didn't get any reply.I am quite disappointed and write my first review in my life, hoping that there will be no other victims.
It was not until today that I got a replacement for replacement. It's a relief that you replaced it, but please check it before selling...
