The Alley — Restaurant in Ontario

Unfortunately I took my son there. It was his first visit today. I don’t like the tapioca in my drinks and always get my drink without them. Today the girl refused to make the drink without them!!! She said they are not allowed to, and that they get into trouble for not putting the tapioca in the drink. She stated couldn’t change the recipe! I’ve never heard anything so absurd! I have Uber orders that I have made previously which show ‘no tapioca’ and it’s never been an issue. I’ve also bought drink there and asked for no tapioca. So I walked out without any drink! Clearly they’d rather a paying customer leaves the store without purchasing then to make a drink with the tapioca balls! Unfortunately I will not be going again and will take my business where they ‘allow’ you to have a drink the way...

If it was not the bad attitude of the girl at the counter it would definitely be a 5 star. We visited the store at around 8:30 - 8:40 pm on Saturday on 30 December 2023 at the store in London Ontario just becoz my wife praised it. When we were placing the order the girl at the counter was not at all welcoming (don’t know what was wrong with her) felt she was just racist. The 2 gentleman at the store were so good and had a smiling face. The girl was arrogant and had a bad attitude. This was not the customer service I was expecting. Never returning to this store ever again and recommend others as well. How much ever good product you have you lost us. I hope she changes her attitude....

The interior of the shop was nicely decorated and clean. They had a wide selection to choose from with new drinks daily according to the season and promotions. I decided to get the Deerioca Ube with puff and my boyfriend had the strawberry green tea. Although the shop was very busy with numerous customers, it did not take long to receive our drinks. The Deerioca Ube with puff was amazing. It had strong ube flavour and the tapioca and puff added to its great taste. The strawberry green tea was good with real strawberry chunks, but it wasn’t anything special about it. Overall, it isn’t a bad bubble tea shop to come and hangout with your friends.
