This Tim Hortons is always a go to spot in town. Its service is hit and miss If you go in the morning, if the owner is on the floor it’s run a lot smoother. The drive through is quick and efficient and you don’t get any attitude from the older ladies working there. Around lunch time, you can definitely feel the change in attitude and the disrespect towards the high school students coming in for lunch. The staff get annoyed by the teenagers and treat them very disrespectfully, for no reason at all. You can hear it in the tone of their voice and tossing their food on the counter or in the way they call out the order. In the evening you get the teenagers working and they are great with the service, friendly staff and efficient. They really try to do a great job and the effort is seen. There is a lot of inconsistency with this location in the service and the food isn’t always to spec. You can order the same thing every day and it will be made differently each time. For example: I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap- one day it’s chicken with a salad base the next day it has rice in it. Or the blackberry quencher drink one day they ask me if I want lemonade in it and the other day it’s just sparkling water. Either way it’s still made good, but different each time, so there isn’t much consistency. You can also definitely tell the people that enjoy working there and the others who do not. Seeing the same faces each day while getting your coffee it’s nice to know someone by name and say hello or ask them how they are doing. Some are not so friendly at this location. Read moreI have never had a good experience here. This is the only Tim Hortons that has been this way for me. Every time I have ordered a sandwich with lettuce the last 4-5 times it's completely rotten with black spots and slimey. I finally took pictures to show how bad it is. When I complained they said they have to make it last 4 days and that's all they said (I can make lettuce last over a week) so I bring it home and put my own lettuce on it. They also get it wrong, whether it's forgetting to not put mayo on something or forgetting egg on a sandwich or forgetting a drink order or food item. They had the same person make ice drinks twice and they forgot ice both times and they didn't show them how to do it. The food is always stale, the chicken and bacon is stale. They run out of food two hours before closing every night. It's horrible and the staff is always rude. The other night I was waiting for drinks and a staff member using a swifter duster on the ceiling right above the drinks so any dust or dirt would have fallen where the drinks and food sat...I was shocked. I just can't understand why the staff has bad attitudes and they're always yelling at them to work and staff are always getting upset or standing around talking when one person makes the food. Read moreI would say that 95% of the time we order food, it is made wrong. The customer service is horrible and employees & managers are rude. The only reason they get 1 star is that the coffee is good and fresh. I'm not sure what is going on but seriously need to look at those customer service skills. On one occasion I paid $17 for coffee and food, they handed me the coffee and when I sat there waiting for the food, they asked me what I wanted and I said the food, they said it was only 2 coffees, I then explained I paid $17 for coffee and food. They closed the window and then threw the bag at me and said nothing. Another occasion my husband ordered 2 sandwiches no veggies and no sauce. Got home, had veggies and sauce on them, went back, they were rude and made it again, wrong again and he told them it was wrong again and then they threw the bag at him. There are so many occasions, every interaction is a nightmare. I feel as if because this is the only place to go for fast food, the staff feel it's okay to be rude and not care.
