I went through the drive-thru of this Tim Hortons and there was no notification of the machine for credit or debit not working. We found out when we got to the window that you could only use tap and we were trying to pay with credit the person in the restaurant kept asking us to pay with tap a "international student" who didn't seem to understand when we said we were using a credit card they then asked us if we had cash and we had to explain to them again we're paying with credit they then asked us to come into the store which is fairly dangerous on Highbury because of the traffic I then went in and spoke to the manager and he was extremely disrespectful I explained to him that as a fast food worker I know the proper process is to put notice on the order window to let customers know their machine is broken and that this specific machine has been broken for weeks. the screen is cracked and I've talked to other employees multiple times about it asking when it's going to get fixed. He then argued with me and told me I was wrong and that it was only broken today, which I know is a lie. I know this because I frequent that Tim Hortons drive-thru on a regular basis. when I said sorry but you're incorrect he got arrogant with me and told me I was at the wrong Tim Hortons and that I was confused. anyone who use this Tim Hortons drive-thru on a regular basis will be able to tell you that screen has been broken for weeks now. it is completely unacceptable for the manager to speak to customers that way so instead of paying for my order I left since like the manager said I'm at the wrong Tim Hortons. so I'm going to go to the one on Clark from now on because I know I will get the proper service and I won't be spoken to buy a manager so rudely what pisses me off is the fact that I'm not one to normally take problem, I don't usually need to talk to managers. As a former service industry worker I understand that some things happen but when you're outright lying to customers because you're being lazy and you don't want to admit you've done something wrong by not getting a piece of equipment fixed I draw the line. Accept that you screwed up get your store the equipment repairs they need or quit. Don't go to a foreign land for a better life and start crapping on the revenue stream.
I would also like to point out reading the other reviews recently there have been a lot of one-star review so I'm not the only person who has issue with this location and it's mismanagement I don't know if it's a language barrier or a lack of training or just a lack of Care on the employees parts but Tim Hortons is a Canadian company and it should uphold...
Read moreIt was a total fiasco .
To start with they took too long to even take the orders and there was a long line up .
I ordered a medium latte extra hot and although I repeated twice for the extra hot but they just gave me and it was a waste for me as that is not how I want my coffee,
After waiting for over 7 mins for my bagel I asked the staff present to halt the orders and at least serve the people waiting as was not much space to stand and my family was waiting for me in the car . We were 3 customers complaining and with arrogance the staff member came and returned the money for the bagels to me . I DIDNT ASK FOR MY REFUND BUT JUST FOR THEM TO HURRY UP BUT INSTEAD HE arrogantly THREW THE MONEY AT ME . Shame on such staff . Totally pathetic . I could have created a ruckus there but stopped myself as there were multiple families , kids and elderly people sitting.
Instead to improving their standards or serving customers the staff is so arrogant that they just throw your money back at the customer. I am sure this arrogance comes as no action is taken on them even after receiving customer complaints.
I visit Tim’s thrice daily but this seems to be the worst spot .
Bathrooms were dirty and stinking
They need to train their staff to stop this arrogance and start improving their standards and to serve the customers . Making new franchises is good but making sure that they are up to the standards and the brand image is not being spoiled should be...
Read moreI’m writing this review to express my disappointment with a recent experience at your location. Upon entering, we had to wait around 10–15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. There were no employees at the counter initially, and during this wait, no one approached us to take our order or even offer assistance.
Eventually, two employees came to the front, but they continued to roam around without engaging with the customers. When it was finally our turn to order, the staff member assisting us, named Priti, seemed unfamiliar with the menu and had difficulty understanding our order. This lack of knowledge made the ordering process frustrating and inefficient.
Additionally, her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. When we asked for straws, she simply threw them on the table without a word and walked away, ignoring us completely. As long-time loyal customers of this Tim Hortons location, we were extremely disappointed with the service and behavior displayed.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, we no longer feel comfortable returning to this location and will not recommend it to others. We sincerely hope that management takes steps to better train the staff in both product knowledge and...
