Absolutely Disgraceful Customer Service â Tim Hortons, September 29th, 2024
I am absolutely disgusted by the service I received at this Tim Hortons on the night of September 29th, between 9:00 and 9:30 pm. To say the staff were rude is an understatement. The guy working, a Punjabi turbaned man, was completely out of line, and his behavior was absolutely unacceptable!
I asked for a simple drink with hot chocolate and heavy cream â something Iâve ordered without issue at countless other Tim Hortons. But this guy, from the moment I placed my order, decided to act like I was asking for the moon! His attitude was unbearable. Every second, he kept reminding me in a condescending tone that everything was extra â extra chocolate pump, extra cream â as if I wasnât aware or prepared to pay for my own drink. He was rude, dismissive, and acted like my request was beneath him.
When I finally got my drink, it tasted like NOTHING but milk! I politely told the girl working with him that it was missing the chocolate flavor, and she immediately took it to add an extra pump. But thatâs when the real audacity kicked in. This unprofessional, ill-mannered guy had the nerve to question her RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, telling her not to add more chocolate because it âcosts moneyâ! WHAT?! Are you kidding me? Is this how you treat paying customers, Tim Hortons?
At that point, Iâd had enough, and when I confronted him, instead of apologizing, he starts YELLING at me, saying, âIâm a Financial Service Representative at TD Bank, I only work here part-time!â WHO CARES? You could be working for the Queen of England for all I care, but when you're behind the counter at Tim Hortons, you need to learn how to do your job right and treat customers with BASIC RESPECT! I donât care if you're a Financial Service Rep, Elon Musk, or the Prime Minister â youâre working at Tim Hortons, so act like it and serve your customers without the entitlement and arrogance!
This experience was absolutely infuriating. Tim Hortons, you seriously need to train your staff better. Teach them that no matter where they work part-time, they should have the DECENCY to talk to customers politely, make the order correctly, and keep their entitled egos in check. This was one of the worst experiences Iâve had at any Tim Hortons, and I will NOT be returning to this location. Train your employees or get...
Read moreMy review was deleted, is that normal practice for owners to delete negative reviews? I think it's pretty fair people get to hear my experience, so I'll post it again.
I attended this location at 8pm wanting to order a pizza, turkey bacon club and donuts, but was told they were no longer making food as it was too late and the machines were already shut off and cleaned. The only selection of anything edible were a blueberry donut, a couple cookies, a chocolate croissant and a couple pastries/muffins. While over at the convenience store afterwards another lady stated she had gone to this location at 720pm the same evening and was informed she could not order food at this time either. I also witness a staff drop a bunch of coffee cups all over the floor and then proceed to pick them up and put them on the counter to be served. Very unsanitary. It was my understanding this location is to serve food until 9pm and machines should be shut off/cleaned around 850pm. I know this is a smaller location, but how is this acceptable? How is this a way to run a business when you're turning away customers 2 hours early out of laziness, losing money? Very sad to see this business take such a shit turn compared to how it was previous to 6ish months ago. Very...
Read moreTerrible. Asked if they had a pumpkin spice muffin. The employee said yes. Asked for one. Asked if they had the Barbie doll. Though it was an actual barbie doll not a flippin donut. Get to the window, and asked for a second pumpkin spice muffin, the girl at the eindow said we don't have pumpkin spice muffins, I said well what kind of muffin am I getting then, she said we don't have a muffin on your order. Like, what is wrong with people. Asked for a blueberry Muffin. Paid for it. Girl handed me my tea, coffee and a bag. Stopped just around the corner to eat my muffin before heading on my way home and all I got was a flippin barbie donut. So disappointed. Employees just don't care anymore, no pride in the work they do. Will not be going to this Tim Hortons again. The girl at the window was rude to me and the guy who...
