The Old Greenhouse Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Ontario

It's a cute building with a terrace and service was friendly. However we were super disappointed with the choices. I gave it two stars because I want to be fair as I think some people like options like that (if it's just up to me it's one star). We tasted lemon sorbet and peach sorbet (2 of the three lactose free options). The peach tasted super artificial and sweet. It was like eating peach flavored soap. The third sorbet option we didn't even taste because it was called blue raspberry and it sounded like it would just be artificial flavours and food coloring. If you like fruit options with no milk this is not the place for you. If you like super sweet flavours like "birthday cake" rather than simple flavors and you're not vegan or lactose intolerant than this could work for you. First off, the staff at this establishment are very unfriendly. They practically ignored my partner and I when we entered and one of the employees rolled their eyes when we asked them a question about the sizes. The ice cream itself was incredibly freezer burnt and not very good quality. We will not be coming back, Slickers is better and friendlier! EDIT: They replied to my review basically calling me a liar. I'll have you know I don't take any pleasure in writing a bad review about a place. That was my subjective experience and I felt obligated to share it with others. That is the point of a review system. Parked in their parking lot, the sign says parking is for customers only, the sign mentions no time limit, bought ice cream, was getting ready to head for a swim at Wellington beach for 1 hour but 2 of the workers ran outside to tell us to move our car out of their parking lot and to park in another business’ parking lot instead. We felt like this was not really nice considering we were in fact customers and would have put us at risk for getting a ticket if we parked elsewhere and were not a customer.
