A great Italian pizzeria in the respect of the napolitain traditions. They offer 9 varieties of pizza cooked in one of their 2 wood ovens, which they build themselves. The ingredients cannot be switched or replaced in the respect of the recipes. You can add extra virgin olive oil or fresh basilic leafs, but no salt or pepper.
The pizza are of 12 inches. They also offer a bambino of 8 inches for the children with 4 ingredients of their choices. The pizza are just perfect for one person.
They offer a varieties of antipasti like the bruschetta and also some traditional desserts like the tiramisu. They offer wines from their private importation and suggest some red and a white paring with each pizza.
The restaurants have long tables of 12 places each. Perfect for group or families.
Also in the restaurant, plenty of spices, pastas, rices, olive oils and other Italian condiments ready to be bought for your own recipes.
The service was implacable and they took the time to explain their concept before we order so there are not misconception or false expectations.
It’s great to have a restaurant of this quality...
Read moreWe had dined at Steforno a few years ago and had had a great experience, so when we were visiting the area again, we jumped at the chance to eat here again. We made a reservation for 630pm and arrived on time. We were given our table inside almost right away. Unfortunately that's when things started to go downhill. We didn't get any service, including water, until 7:10pm. The waitress and the hostess said they would be with us shortly a couple of times each, but it definitely was not short. That didn't happen. We then proceeded to wait until 8pm for our meals. In the blazing heat of the wood fired ovens. We were sweating and starving by the time our food got there that we could barely enjoy it. We ate and got out of there as fast as we could. Needless to say, we won't...
Read moreI bit into a piece of metal found in the pizza and got hurt. When sharing this with the waitress, she laughed and said that the same thing happened to her and they offered me a free gelato!? I was in pain after bitting the piece of metal and that was the reaction I received. My husband was livid and we decided not to leave a tip. The same waitress was insulting and my husband explained to her that a free gelato or a 10% discount was insulting given I was hurting and did obviously didn’t understand the severity of the situation, and that it could have been worse if I have had ingested it. We have a chalet near by, we have ordered from Steforno a few times. This was the last time we would order food, or eating in after this awful experience. Seriously, the manager should train her staff for...
