King's Oshawa Buffet — Restaurant in Oshawa

I will not rate this restaurant with any stars the quality of service was poor we were on our way on a road trip and we stopped in at this restaurant and as we sat at the buffet table the staff kept staring and watching us as we were eating Wendy waitress came over with cups of water she kept questioning if our one and a half year old child is eating we told her no and we said why are people staring at us she said if you don't like it then you should go somewhere else or we should leave prior to even get into the restaurant we asked the price of the restaurant and the gentleman hung up on me after speaking to ask questions very rude.

Never in all my years I've lived in Ontario have experienced anyone treat customers this way you would think that a restaurant would want to make sure their customers come in and feel welcome and enjoy their food and feel comfortable even the customers in the restaurant kept staring at us we had a few children with us like they've never seen children before it was a disgrace it is a place I will never visit again that was the worst experience I've ever had eating at this buffet restaurant the food was not even fresh-looking it was old and stale nobody was putting food and refilling the containers to make sure that it was replenished.

Each restaurant is to each other's and I'm not telling no one not to go there but my experience was not a good one I have nothing positive to say about this place that place Buffet go to Mandarin or...

Tonight my family and I witnessed the saddest situation of verbal abuse from the waitstaff towards a young lady wanting a take out buffet. From a distance we overheard the lady ask if she could serve herself, makes sense. If you choose to dine here be prepared for the waitstaff to serve you your buffet!

The waitress yelled at the lady, demanding that she take her money back and leave. When the lady questioned the Waiter on their rule this poor lady endured such verbal abuse from both waiter and waitress. I recall hearing the her asking several times for the server to stop yelling at her because he was embarrassing her. Looking back I wished I had stood up for her and made an example for my two young daughters! who also witnessed this violent attack that disrupted the entire dinning room.

Quality of food - POOR Crusty and old lo mein. When asked for new batch the waiter stirred the noodle dish and said no, they are great.

4 chicken balls on hot table when arrived, asked for more and the waiter said 20 minutes before next batch CAN come out. As if they can only serve a certain amount every 30 or 60 mins.

What can I say, this place has been a part of my life for years!! My family have been a long time customer and we are treated as their family. Daddy Cam and his wonderful wife ALONG with every staff member there, know our family and treat us sooo good. My son adores Cam and his wife and everyone there. Its nice to walk in and everyone knows who you are!They are just very loving people who makes you feel like your a somebody!! Food is excellent!! Dine in or take out, doesn't matter, yummie every time!! Chicken wings ARE THE BEST IN TOWN!! Our family is devoted to Kings buffet and we are lifers. They certainly take good care of you and there are many many regulars that keep going back. WHAT'S THAT TELL YOU? Amazing staff, great Food, excellent service and relaxing, warm atmosphere! Can't get better than that! I have nothing but the utmost respect for the owners and their staff!! Thank you for your continued kindness, CLEARLY you value your customers in ways that go over and above standard customer service. That s what makes all of you sooo wonderful....
