A&W Canada — Restaurant in Ottawa

I generally enjoy coming to this location, although there has been a few hiccups in the past. I once found hair in my burger which turned me off from coming here for a bit, but decided to give it another go.

I tried the new jalapeno beyond meat burger today and WOW, if you love spice, you will love this burger. It is spicy. Their original beyond meat burger is also really good if you are not into spicy foods. The jalapeno burger does not come with pickles, so if you are a pickle fan, make sure you add some on.

Service is always friendly and food was served hot and fresh. I enjoyed dining in here today. Staff were also wearing hair nets which is awesome and the kitchen is open concept, so you can see what's going on back there. I dislike the mall format A&W's where you cannot see the cooks in...

Came in today with my wife and kid for lunch. The cashier had a bad attitude and acted like we were a bother and like she didn’t want to be at work.(rubbed us the wrong way) we chose to dine in so she asked for proof of vaccination which is fine but then ignored us for like 5 minutes before she finally checked and acted annoyed about having to. The food quality was good but then, after eating, my kid needed to go to the bathroom so I took her to the family bathroom, the toilet was covered is pee and the sink was filthy so now I’m questioning if the staff working the kitchen are even hygienic at all given how disgusting the bathroom is. When I went to go order my food, I stood there for 10 minutes. Nobody came. I even called. Nobody came to the phone. I finally yelled. Excuse me. Is this open two minutes later a girl and a guy come out from the back not in uniform took my order I specifically asked for no onions so as I open my bag to find out extra onions on my burger, I was taking them off at the counter pissed off and the person behind me asked the lady at the cash what was wrong with me and she just said oh she didn’t want onions so they’re clearly not paying attention because to me it looks like they’re doing something in the back that was more important then...
